Linon Isabelle Bed Bench, 62-Inch, Dark Espresso Finish

Bought this bench about a month ago to use in the master bedroom, at the foot of a king sized bed. I love it! Here are my observations:* Packing and assembly - It took 5 to 10 minutes to unpack and put together. Super easy, and no special tools required.* Construction - Fabric is very nice - looks like a sturdy woven linen. Seams and buttons all look good. Nail head trim looks pretty good too, in terms of alignment. I didn't think I would like the wheels and figured I would remove them, but they're not bad looking, so I left them on. It does appear you could remove the wheels, but that'll make the bench shorter and it's a rather low bench already. I have carpet in the bedroom, so scratching floors with the wheels isn't an issue for me, but if you have that concern, it could be addressed with silicone or rubber cups or protectors.* Function - The bench seems sturdy; have tested with two adults seated at once - almost 400 lbs between the two - with no problems. Did we jump on it, or rough-house? No. I anticipate we'll sit on the bench to put on shoes, or use it to hold the occasional laundry basket, pillows or comforter. Our slightly overweight cat appreciates the bench, as he can now get up on the bed unassisted, or without destroying the bedding on his way up. :-)* Overall quality - Seems very good for the money (under $200). But you get what you pay for, right? Will it be an heirloom you can pass on to your grandchildren in a few decades? Probably not, and perhaps you should be shopping Ethan Allen for that. Will it hold up to "average" daily use? I believe it will.* COLOR - This seems to be the biggest question. It's not white or even off-white, but more a neutral beige or tan, aka (literally) OATMEAL. Since the perception of color is subjective, I've included a picture of the bench with some common objects anyone should have or be able to easily get - a white envelope, a manila file folder, and a white bowl with Quaker instant oatmeal, apple flavor - no liquid. (Liquid makes it darker.) This picture was taken with daylight coming in through bedroom windows situated at the top of the pic. As you can see, the closest match is the oatmeal. So open up a packet of apple oatmeal, put it in a bowl, and carry it to wherever you want to place the bench, in whatever light, and that's basically what color you're going to get. Incidentally, I purchased the bedding on Amazon about a year ago, and the bench matches it perfectly. Search "Echo Design Odyssey Duvet Cover" on Amazon if you want to see the color/pattern. Also included a pic showing the bench in relation to the bed, and one with the cat, because he insisted on it.

I actually bought this bench as a coffee table for my living room, and I just love it! It matches with the rest of my furniture and is easy to move, as well as being very functional. I can use it for extra seating, as an ottoman, or a place to eat! Do not hesitate in buying this! It looks like a It looks like an expensive piece of furniture. The price is incredibly reasonable, given that it sells on other sites for almost twice as much.

I absolutely love this bench. It’s very beautiful and looks expensive for the money. It was very easy to assemble. All I had to do was twist the legs on that were Inside a cubby that was zipped up underneath the bench. It would look good at the foot of the bed or on a wall in any room. It’s nice and wide .Highly recommended!

Based on the reviews I read, this very much lives up to what's being said about it. But there is one HUGE misconception on a question I had asked about removing the rollers. The response to my question was that it could be done, and it couldn't be any further from the truth. My husband is a master at building things, plus he has built homes, garages, etc. So he's the go-to guy for building or putting anything together. The rollers on the legs of this item DO NOT come off, so don't be duped like we were into believing differently. The biggest reason I opted for this bench is its length which was perfect, and its sturdiness, another plus. But I absolutely needed a bench that does not move, and to be told by another buyer the rollers can be removed when they cannot truly messed things up for me. One other downfall are the number of black markings on the oak colored legs. I swear, they almost appear 'used'. It's not quite as 'elegant' as all the oohing and aahing indicates in the reviews. I would not go to the extreme of declaring it as elegant, but it is very nice, attractive, perfect height, sturdy and solid (other than the rollers). And for those getting their panties into a wad because it does not arrive pure white, seriously, white is absolutely the worst fabric color choice because once it's stained, it's history. I much prefer the neutral beige coloring. We purchased this as a side bed option for our sinewy granddaughter to sleep on against the wall in the guest room as she cannot climb into the overhead bunkbed. So my only need was that it did not move. But alas, it does as the rollers do not come off, even when we disassembled the legs and attempted to pull them off. Nope. Without using a high speed to cut them off, they are there to stay.

This bench matches almost perfect with my oatmeal tufted headboard. It was incredibly easy to put together. Not super heavy, but yet sturdy. I love how the legs and tools were zipped up inside the hollow space of the bench so I was able to drag everything upstairs in one trip. This puts the finishing touch on my bedroom.

Love this bench! I was a bit worried about the color because I didn't want white, but some of the reviews on here assured it wasn't and I can add another confirmation of that. It is a beautiful natural linen color. Very quick delivery and very easy assembly - glad I didn't pay $95 to screw on six legs - haha. Fits perfectly at the end of my king size bed and provides a great place to put my comforter at night. Great price for a great product.

I have king size bed , so finding a bench long enough without spending a couple of hundreds is slim to none! The fabric is more of creamy white linen material, with nail head detail & button head cushion & legs with roller wheels!! Most importantly the length is 61inchs , I did look at other vendors that carried a similar bench however they were 51inchs or smaller all for the same amount or more.. So ,yes I went big & I am happy!! So if you have a kingbed & looking for a nice looking affordable bench you can't go wrong!!
