It worked well
Painted a drywall 1'x 2' patch and this not only helped strengthen the cut out used, but also grabbed the paint perfectly. It was easy to apply and dried very quickly, but I had to step outside to spray it since it is scary chemically to spray in the air even with a mask, although I did a lttle side touch up on a nearby wall inside the kitchen. Fantastic value, it covered all blemishes, and the brushed on white paint afterward was perfect. The can emptied rather quickly. Use short bursts.

Great primer!
I primed over 30 year old yellow oak cabinets that were finished with an oil based urethane. Sanding off all of the old urethane would have taken forever, so I sanded them lightly, cleaned them with degreaser, and spray primed them with the BIN.I torture tested one of my cabinet does after priming with BIN then top coating, just to make sure it would hold up, and this primer really holds. This stuff is expensive, but it’s the best primer to use over oil based finishes. It smells really strongly. Wear a respirator. The big can really sprays a wide arc, so it mar not be ideal for tight or small areas, but it’s a real time saver for bigger surfaces.

Works great
Did the job. Sealed the drywall tear. Easy to plaster over and then paint.

It works, but it isn't perfect
So, I researched ceiling paint extensively before deciding on this brand. It had the best overall reviews and seemed reputable. I had three different areas of my house that had water damage. Two of the areas were fairly small (they could both be covered by a regular size sheet of paper). The third area was much larger (we had a pipe burst in our upstairs bathroom and water came through the kitchen). I also have a popcorn-style ceiling. This paint spray covered the two smaller areas flawlessly. I was super impressed. The larger area was not covered as nicely. I can definitely still see the stains. I will have to apply at least one more coat to see if it works better. I will have to wait for warmer weather again though, as the smell of this paint is super strong and I will need every window and door open! Also, the sprayer seems to clog very easy, which was a bit irritating. Overall, it provides decent coverage on smaller areas. I am still debating on its effectiveness on larger areas.

You can paint over silicone with this!
I thought I made a massive mistake when remodeling our office. I used silicone instead of caulk cause it's what I had and when it was time to paint it wouldn't stick for anything. Did alot of research and even professional painters were saying there's no way to fix this other than pulling out the silicone. Found 1 10 second video of a man using this as an alternative and im so glad I found that. If youre in the same boat please use this. I wouldn't recommend in a high traffic area though. It does scratch off easier than normal but in other instances it's totally worth it

i think the product is great but delivery is not
I am sure the product is great, but I wouldn't know, I haven't received it yet. I thought ordering through amazon would be better but the delivery date keeps getting extended. I discovered that the same product is at the local building supply store for $69/gallon, basically $5 more, but I would be working on the project now instead of waiting. if you're ordering this, plan for at least a week to 10 days to get it.

fully covered marker on the wall!
This shellac based primer was great. My son colored on the wall with marker. We tried to paint over it, and it didn't work, the marker just showed through. Then we tried 5-6 costs of another "heavy coverage primer" and it still didn't work. Finally we tried this shellac based primer and it covered the marker with one coat. Months later, we still don't see any bleed through!
