These work well, and I like the high-visibility color and the low-profile.

It was tough to tell what would fit a Stihl Wood Cutter helmet.The face screen mount is integral with the hearing protection mount.I removed the ear piece from the mount it came with and it was a direct fit to the helmet's mount.It looks like the provided mount would also support the face shield.This is good news. Back in working order!These Jorestech units are comfortable.However there is no stand off detent to hold them off your head. (This is what failed on the original set.)This makes it tough to stretch them wide enough to 'park' on the helmet.This effort could damage the faux leather.All in all perfect really.In fact these must have a higher db rating than the original set.The contrasting color makes the rig stand out visually.Orange and green! Dose the job as well or better as much more expensive ear muffs ! My crews all love them

I got two of these on e broke within the first day the other one is still going but i'm not sure how long it will last not to happy about that.

The ear muffs fit in the hardhat slots securely. One set worked correctly and is currently in use. The other set as delivered appeared to be packaged differently, indicating it was possibly a returned item. The problems began with that set of ear muffs when attempting to move it into position over the ears. One side moved with difficulty, while the other would barely move. when I applied a bit more force, that side literally blew apart. I returned that pair. I am not sure if this was a fluke, abuse from the previous owner, or a design flaw. Not sure I I want to buy another of this model.Most irritating was the vendor would only refund the purchase price, rather than replace.

I've been at a couple of construction sites and have had issues with too much noise. I have over-the-head style noise ear protection, but that doesn't work great with a hard hat. I like these in that they can be clipped into a hard hat via the slots on either side, directly above the ears, and that they can swivel when needed.I haven't been able to test them at a construction site yet, but look forward to doing so, and will add more as I have the opportunity.Testing them at home without even putting them on my hard hat, they lessen the sound around me quite a bit.
