This belt works great and is a standard thickness for having tapered edges, it doesn't stretch which is a good thing, and the buckle has a ratchet mechanism that allows you to adjust it in very small increments like 1/4" at a time vs standard belts with holes that only allow you to select 1" increments. The best part is that the buckle assembly allows you to remove it from the leather belt and trim the BACK END of the belt down to ANY LENGTH and re-attach it so you never have to worry about the tip of the belt changing shape. Of course this very fine adjustability makes this belt fit perfectly so it holds my pants up better and more comfortably than any previous belt I've ever used.

My husband is a bigger guy that always stretched out his belts from the store. He always had to adjust them as well which was the main complaint! He bought this belt in hopes of making the constant adjustments more manageable. Well it makes it cake work and they do not stretch out. They are easy to adjust and you can cut them down if you happen to lose weight. Plus the cost is half of what you pay somewhere else. This was a wonderful purchase I have made twice already.

I've been using a couple of these belts for a few weeks and have appreciated the finer control the adjustment provides over traditional holes. I kept finding my belts either a bit too tight or just not tight enough with a one hole adjustment straddling the comfort line. Now I can cinch or release a click or two to find the sweet spot any time I'm not quite comfortable. I suspect someone with arthritic fingers may find the small lever for releasing the belt a bit tricky. I confess I'm having trouble shaking the feeling that these belts might not be suitable for a formal occasion, but can't quite put my finger on why. Maybe it's just that they are different or less expensive than belts I've had before. It's a bit like an EV having no front grill: perfectly functional but "different." Just takes a bit of getting used to.

This quality would typically be much more expensive in a store. Very comfortable. After wearing for a week or so, I'll probably buy several more to replace all my old belts.Accurate size which is unusual. I went to a relatively expensive local store to buy a belt and for any give size, the belts varied by over 8" in length from one to another.

This belt has excellent build quality and is very aesthetically pleasing. Great for the cost as well. The adjustment/buckling mechanism allows easy adjustment in very small increments, which makes it very comfortable. It is not limited to 1" jumps like a traditional belt with holes, so it allows for a much better fit. If your waist fluctuates you can easily adjust the size up or down. Some reviews say the release mechanism is unusual, it is different (a short lever) but very easy to use and of solid construction, hence I see no issues with it.

Been losing weight. Ratchet belt very convenient. Belt buckle more attractive than most. Wish they would make a thinner one that looks nicer with dress clothing.

My grandson is very slim. Needed a dress leather belt prom and graduation. He wears a 28 waist pants and 34 length. Always purchased cloth belts with the adjustable rings for him.
