Good colours, red turned out more deep pink than red, and blue was more electric blue than dark blue, but easy to use and mix into fondant icing

I wanted to colour some white chocolate and after reading how to do this I realised that you can’t use gel food colouring so I bought this box of oil ones and I have to say the colour that it came out was exactly what I wanted I’m not a professional baker I only make cakes for family’s birthday so everything I do is trial and errorI was able to add a drop at a time which was very useful the bottles are not very big but as you only need a small amount they will last a good while and you get a good variety of colours so this one little box will do a lot of different projectsI would definitely recommend these if you’re looking for oil based food colouring

The 8 bottles come in a handy little box for storage. There are 8 15ml bottles - yellow, blue green, orange, blue, red, gold metallic, green and purple. The bottles are quite stiff so use 2 hands to squeeze out the gel, easy to control amount though. Only issue is same as every other..... you need a lot to make the colours pop....red was a bit pink. Application is for chocolate, cakes, icing, fondant, candy and cupcakes. Contains E numbers and therefore may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children (taken from the box). Lasts about 3 years.

Coloured white chocolate green with just a couple of drops. The dye mixed so well and gave a bright colour. I could've kept going but the green in photo was as dark as I needed. We noticed no change to taste. I've also tried 3 other colours so far and the effect was fantastic for the cost. I am only doing this occasionally so it's a low cost way to colour.

Great choice of colours and easy to use. They give a true colour and little amount to give the colour so a little goes a long way! Highly recommend.
