Our biggest helper
We purchased this pump to empty our fish pond in the garden when our old pump gave up and died on us as my husband is 80 and I’m 75 it’s quite a job for us to do but with our new pump it’s amazing it’s so efficient and easy to use it makes the job so much easier for us the pressure of the water flow is amazing and so much quicker than our old one. We consider it great value for money and would definitely recommend it

Works great for emptying our hot tub and cold tub. Bought the hose separately.

Pump performance and build quality
tUsed twice within a day or two to reduce ponding water in excavation. Inevitably there was disturbed muddy water when pumping, no gravel or stones. The pump seemed to struggle to pump water through the recommended canvas pipe. Initially the pump height was approx 1.5m (over a wall) but this was reduced to 0.5m to improve flow. Water came out of the body of the pump at a joint in the case during pumping. I guess this would have reduced the suction power and indicated a weakness of the seal.The pump failed to operate a third time. I checked the plug fuse which was ok. I raised a query with the supplier which was acknowledged but no further response two weeks later. I need to get a working pump asap hence returned it to Amazon.

Worked Briefly
Worked well initially, ran for about 10 minutes. I turned it off and moved the hoses etc, switched it back on and despite being able to hear the motor spinning it no longer pumped any water.I checked for blockages etc but it was being run in clean water & nothing obvious.Returned for a refund

Just the job!
Great value! I use this to transfer water from my down pipe rain water harvester (10,000ltrs) and transfer it to my poly tunnel to water the plants. Nice and fast, lightweight and build well for the price.
