I bought this under my photography company but intended to use it for a specific project for my body paint company @HausSparkle. Currently I am making a LOOK BOOK and I thought this would be the cutest way to create something that would fit my branding aesthetic and also allow me to continue to add on the go in the future.I purchased a black 8x8 book and a set of bada$$ metallic markets as well as some sparkly stickers and got to work (See pics) My idea was that I would be able to create on the go and add to this book over time with more bookings and assignments, allowing me to show off my portfolio but also communicate to people what my style is and how much each look costs. I am sooo happy I got this pocket printer because it is perfect for this intention.FYI, I watched many videos on product reviews for this type of pocket printer as well as others on the market for comparison. I like to consider myself a thorough researcher. I want to know anything and everything about that product segment and what else is out there before I make a call.I decided to go with this because of a few reasons.1. It's Bluetooth and not wifi dependent.2. ZINK (zero ink technology)3. The size and ease of use.4. The sticky prints!!!5. The prints are one of the more affordable options breaking down to .25 cents- .50 cents a print.6. I already use canon products, which I am very happy with.7. Summer of 2022 decided to take family road trips, purchased my daughters first scrapbook and she took her Instax mini 9 camera on our first outing. Was very disappointed in the quality of the prints and felt bad all her photos taken inside /outside were washed out or too dark to tell what was in the image. She enjoyed the concept of it but would upset her when she waisted so many pictures due to how expensive the film is. Was planning to buy her more film or a different camera and luckily stumbled across the idea of just getting a mini printer to connect to our cell phone pictures instead. After looking at reviews and quality of photos I knew the Canon ivy mini printer was the way to go!. I have a professional canon camera and trust their quality.I knew the photos would be tiny but once I saw how tiny they were in person I was nervous the pictures wouldn’t be the best. My worries quickly faded as soon as the first picture printed. So happy I found and purchased this mini printer for our family road-trip! Will make adding memories to scrapbook easier as we travel through the states.The 2x3 size is small but you don’t lose image quality in these prints and looks like they will hold up over time like regular in store prints. Will update if the quality changes over time, etc. excited that other reported sink paper was interchangeable with the correct blue card. Purchased additional paper and hope the quality doesn’t change by using a different brand.Canon Ivy mini prints end up being more expensive than store prints by a few cents, and technically would be getting larger at 4x6 instead of a 2x3. However, being able to instantly print photos from your phone and start journaling/scrapbooking as you travel is priceless!!Very happy with my purchase and highly recommend to those that love taking pictures as much as I do!!!
