We needed a thermostat cover because our mischievous dog likes to steal the thermostat. This cover is high quality, easy to install, and has done its job. It’s the right size so it covers our thermostat but doesn’t stick out. The clear box helps it blend into the wall. Overall good value for the money, and we can stop buying new thermostats!

I was pleasantly surprised to find this is made from a good thick acrylic rather than a flimsy grade or thickness. It was wrapped to protect from scratching and that is greatly appreciated. It came with 2 keys and it has 2 hinges to lift the front once attached to the wall. The screws and drywall anchors also included for wall mounting.Although it is square, my thermostat being rectangle in shape would have still fit inside it, and same for the carbon monoxide detector I have mounted beside my thermostat. I mean each individually would fit but both side by side absolutely not. I'm just such a dummy and when I ordered this I forgot I had a carbon monoxide detector mounted there so this won't work in this instance for me.Although it won't work for me it is still a good quality product that functions perfectly and I most definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a lock box over their thermostat.

Does what it’s supposed to as far as providing protection from my kids. But, since thermostat is enclosed in a box it’s not regulating the temp. Texas summers are so hot and it will not cool off in the house unless the cover is off of it. It has vents on the sides but it’s clearly not enough.

They look great, will know more later
