Easy setup and works well
The adaptor was very easy to set up and works well. I was recommended to buy this one by a family member who works with computers and games programming because he knew that it would do the job.

IIDX says GOOD not GREAT
Was looking to replace my old Pound adapter after switching to a new monitor that doesn’t have an audio port. This Kaico one was cheap and does the job. HDMI output works fine, and it has a headphone jack which is super useful if your monitor lacks speakers.Great for casual play. I tested it with Beatmania IIDX (I'm no top tier player, around level 8), and while it’s playable, songs I used to AA dropped to A ranks. Changing the input delay to +2 helped a lot, but for older games like anything below Happy Sky, you're kinda cooked, no timing offset means you're stuck adapting. If you’re just playing for fun or nostalgia, it’s totally fine. But if you're aiming for precise scoring or playing rhythm games that rely on tight input timing, you might want to look into a pricier solution with better latency performance.

Not worth it
Absolutely useless. The fitting doesn't sit properly in the playstation 2's AV port. (I know it's not an issue with my PS2 because the original av plug works fine) it's a very flimsy product and poorly designed.

Works great!
The media could not be loaded. I have a ps2 phat, this works perfectly. Just follow the set-up instructions step by step and it will work

Easy to set up and great to use
Works great and easy to set up as long as you follow the clear instructions. I had to use the 'blind' set up instructions and it still worked perfectly. Was initially nervous as I hadn't ever turned the Ps2 on as I had just bought it from CeX but it worked perfectly and I got it to display first time. Highly recommended as a good cheap option.

So far so good
Works ok. Don't use the HDMI that comes with it, cheap and dodgy

Plug and play
If you're looking for a way to play your favorite Playstation 2 games on a modern TV, the Kaico Edition Playstation 2 PS2 HDMI Converter is an excellent option. This device is designed to convert the PS2's AV output to an HDMI signal, making it easy to connect your PS2 to a TV or monitor that only has an HDMI input. One of the key benefits of this converter is its ease of use. Simply plug it into your PS2, connect an HDMI cable to your TV, and you're good to go. The picture quality is excellent, with crisp and clear visuals that bring your games to life.In terms of build quality, the Kaico Edition converter feels solid and well-made. The device is compact and lightweight, making it easy to transport and store. The plug and play design means that there's no need for any complicated setup or software installation, making it an excellent option for those who aren't tech-savvy.One thing to keep in mind is that this converter only supports outputting at 720p, so if you have a TV or monitor that supports higher resolutions, you won't be able to take advantage of that. However, for the price, the picture quality is still excellent and more than sufficient for most users.Overall, if you're looking for an easy and affordable way to play your PS2 games on a modern TV, the Kaico Edition Playstation 2 PS2 HDMI Converter is definitely worth considering. It's a great option for anyone who wants to relive their childhood gaming memories without having to sacrifice picture quality.
