A beautifully produced book to go with the show with excellent pictures.

Great addition for any fan of the show

The media could not be loaded.  A wonderful behind the scenes book looking at the making of this hit new TV series.This book covers directing, sets, props, costumes and character biographies along with a look at some of the worlds and species seen in the first series.

Fantastic book lots of close up photos( great for Cosplay ) and details of this great show. Make sure you hve watched the first series before reading as there are some spoilers. Really worth buying as at the moment ( as I write ) there is not much merchandise for Orville!

Loads of info about the show and how they created props for it. Has background info on the world and helps the reader understand the show more. As a fan its a great book and worth the money. Has great illustrations and is well worth the price.

Book is good, but the series is brilliant .Seriously it’s the greatest tv show in the Planetary Union, WATCH THIS SHOW!

This book came out in 2018 after season one of The Orville so it doesn't include any details from season two or three but that doesn't really matter. It is the quintessential Orville manual for fans of the show. It outlines the ship's design, the Union, profiles of the crew (including Alara from season one...still miss her character!) and the major alien species in the show, friends and enemies.The world building here isn't anywhere near as deep and detailed as Star Trek but that's understandable since there had been only one season. That is already changing through season three and, hopefully, many more seasons of this great show.If you enjoy The Orville you'll love this book.

I didn't expect much from this book but it turned out to be pretty good. There's some interesting info and images behind the pre-production of the show and while I would very much want much more schematics, set photos, and detailed blueprints of props and sets, this provides a decent balance for a book that was so quickly produced for the show and I'm happy to see early concepts and info included as we may not have opportunities in the future to get this info while it is so fresh.
