I normally tend to stay away from Amazon Basic items as I think the smaller sellers/ other brands need a better competitive chance. However, my "other brand... Hamilton Beach" toaster broke in less than 6 months. This Amazon Basic looks like it will last more than that, I think. I will update my review later. It is basic after all, but it is functional and works great. The light is a good indicator when it's working, and it is true to time/ toasting degree of the bread. Great quality overall, so far.

I have bought and returned multiple toasters over the past few years. They are not built to last anymore, however this one by Amazon is a great, sturdy and well-functioning appliance as well as attractive in looks. Highly recommended!!!

So far this little toaster is a pleasure to use. I would have given it a "5", but for safety, it should be more stable. It's extremely light and I had to purchase a mat to put underneath to keep it from sliding everywhere. Not too good for children ork older folks to use. I love the design and the various settings that are right in front. I've used it several times for different sizes of bread, as well as English Muffins. I do wish that the toasting number as far as light or dark, would have some type of white paint on that indicator, as you have to feel around for it to set it properly. Thank You!

Works well and the temperature control is pretty accurate to most other toasters. It’s small enough that it fits in the back of the cupboard and doesn’t get in the way. It works perfectly for my husband and myself.

Excellent toaster that actually toasts all sides evenly and it has a bagel button so only the inside of the bagel is toasted. Very lightweight and has very wide slots. Love this toaster.

Yep it's a working toaster. It does seem a little larger than I thought it would be but it makes toast which is what I wanted.

I expected better of a simple kitchen appliance. It has features I may eventually use, bagel and defrost, but for now I just wanted toast. first, at its maximum setting, it toasts ordinary bread to what I would consider about 50%, meaning it has to be run through twice to get brown. Second, the ejection mechanism is not working and when the device is finished, the lever stays in the down position, so there is no way to tell it is done. This will never set off any smoke alarms.

The toaster arrived super-fast, as I live outside US and only took 3 days! About it I followed the instructions before use and smell and smoke dissipated quickly. I only have tested normal toast so far, for bread right out from the bag, position 2 or maximum 3 should be used to avoid burning it. I gave it 4 ⭐ as the nob looks cheap.
