Makes brushing your teeth easy to do.
Having used a Phillips Sonic care toothbrush for years, I was ready for a change. The reviews for the Oral B toothbrush convinced me to make this purchase. I love the sensor which alerts you every 30 sec to brush to another area of your mouth, the replacement heads are a lot more affordable than the Phillips brushes and it does a great job cleaning my teeth. It also has 3 different settings you can choose from. IIt is quite noisy but I’m ok with that.

Wish I could give it 10 stars
I originally bought the Oral-B Pro 1000 for my husband, but after trying it once… I was hooked! I ended up buying extra brush heads just so I could use it too. The difference is unbelievable—my teeth have never felt this clean from a toothbrush before, even after flossing and rinsing. Buying mine next! It’s powerful but not harsh, super easy to use, and the built-in timer helps make sure you’re brushing long enough. Honestly, it feels like a mini dental cleaning every time.Highly recommend this if you’re looking to upgrade your brushing game. We’re both obsessed now!

Good value
I have had a few previous electric toothbrushes and this one is just ok. My previous toothbrush was the Oral-B Pro 1500 which started rattling inside, and got progressively worse after just 3 years (I never dropped it). I hope this one lasts longer. Compared to the Pro 1500, this Pro 1000 doesn't seem to have as much power or maybe the battery is weaker. I know the Pro 1000 uses a nickel metal hydride battery (takes about twice as long to charge) while the Pro 1500 uses a lithium ion. I also read one review that said the motor in the Pro 1000 is not as powerful as the motor in the Pro 1500.According to the specs, the Pro 1000 has a pressure sensor that alerts you if you are using too much pressure. As with some other reviews, I sure cannot identify any such sensor in the Pro 1000. The pressure sensor in the 1500 is quite evident when you apply too much pressure.I'm not overwhelmed or underwhelmed with the Pro 1000, and will continue using it. And at $50, I know it is not a top of the line model. But I think it has good value for the price and gets my teeth clean. If it weren't for the good value, I would have rated it as 3 stars.

Well worth it!
Way better than going to the dentist for a cleaning. I just got my first one and I can put to rest the idea of smoking and drinking less tea away! I think you could use this once a week and manually brush the other days and get an entire year out of one brush head. If each family member had a different brush head you could prolly use the same handle...what can I say I'm thrifty.

6 Years and Still working well
I've had this toothbrush for 6 years and it is still working as good as it was in the beginning. Charges well, holds it's charge well, and cleans my teeth well. The 4 part timer is nice and helpful and works well.

Makes brushing teeth after meals a breeze and not a necessary chore
Prompt delivery as promised.Oral-B is a great product. I purchased replacement to my old Oral-B that I've had for almost 20 years.I don't have any other electric product that's lasted as long.

All you need in a toothbrush
I've used one of these for years. After a recent cleaning visit when I had an unusual amount of stain, the hygienist suggested the battery might be weakening - and she was right! I bought a new one and am getting great cleaning again. And the three speeds are a nice improvement over my old one.You can spend a lot more for bells and whistles, but this model 1000 is everything you need for a good price - and you'll get a good lifetime of service out of it.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
The Good: Seems to work well, is a good size and I like the round head (my last one was traditional shaped). Has a gum pressure sensor but I have never even triggered it, except to test it. Seems like a gimmick. The Bad:a- Battery lasts about 14 uses (7 days at 2 min each in morning and night). Meaning you have to charge once a week for normal use. If you use it 3x a day, you have to charge almost every 3rd day. My last electric brush lasted over 3 weeks. Battery on the Oral-B Pro 1000 is very small, apparently. So, if you go on a one week trip, you got to take the charger. It's made to be able to be kept on the charger all the time but we can't do that.b- Charging is verrrrry slow, takes almost 20 hours.b- While it does provide 30 second alerts, it doesn't shut off by itself.c- No case provided; not even a cover for the brush head. The Ugly: hard to hold when wet as it is slippery without a good gripper on it.Would not buy again.
