🔗 Unlock your PS2’s hidden memory potential!
The MX4SIO SIO2SD adapter is a robust ABS-built accessory designed to replace the PS2's SIO memory card reader, enabling connection of memory cards via the SIO2 interface. While it does not function as a memory card itself, it supports specially developed homebrew software like OPL to expand your console's storage capabilities.

Works as Intended.
Games have never loaded faster. Works on all models of PS2s, very compatible.

Mostly excellent
Easy to use and does what it says. There are only a couple of issues:1. None of the retro emulators will read it, so you have to stick with PS2 games (or PSX with POPS). Not a big deal, but a thing to note.2. OPL will prioritize USB, so if you have this and a USB drive in at the same time, it will read that one instead. As far as I've found, there's no way to force it to read this instead if your USB is plugged in.3. Games above 4 GB won't load without being broken into smaller blocks. I was unable to test if USButil works to do this as it does for USB, but I imagine it would. Still, a thing to note.Overall, great.

Instructions
Include instructions. Wasn't sure if I was doing something incorrectly, I formatted and kept trying but didn't work now it's just sitting there.

Saved me a headache
Great little device for me to take all my old Saves and compile it on 1 card. Might snag a secound as a gift for a friend.

It works as advertised
This is an impressive piece of technology. I use a Samsung brand micro sd card for the games. Playing games with the MX4ISO has been made it so much better to not have to swap discs. I use this on a 70XX slim model and it is awesome! There are many tutorials to get this thing to do what it should, be patient and you'll get it working.

Does not work at all
I have followed all the steps to set up FreeMcBoot and got OPL installed and set up. I have double and triple checked to make sure I have everything set up right. I even got all my roms ripped from my games and set up properly.I was hoping this would be a solution to my Play stations failing disk drive (ps2 Fat, tray no longer ejects all the way) but instead I find I've wasted my money. No matter what I do my system will NOT recognize they there is a SD card in the reader. Yes I confirmed my card is supported by the MX4SIO, yes I went the OPL and set it up properly. Still does not work. Just a huge waste of money and yet another piece of useless E-Waste.
