I Cut My Commute Time In Half
I was browsing scooters for about a year, uncertain if I was getting a luxury item. I wondered if I were buying myself an urban jetski I'd seldom use and then for only recreation. I was wrong. I live close to my work, but this scooter cuts my commute time in half because I have no stops and can zip through parking lots. This scooter folds up nicely and is well hidden and out of the way at my workplace. It's light enough to carry down the stairs of my apartment comfortably. In my option, it's the kind of weight that is healthy for a man to be comfortable carrying with one arm down a flight of stairs. It also fits perfectly in the back of my small SUV, and it looks incredibly cool when you pull a smaller vehicle out of your car like you are from the future. I might get a second one. Two will fit in the back of my car for sure. There is an app. Despite other reviews, YOU DO NOT NEED THE APP. You can turn the headlight on by double pressing the power button and quickly shift gears without it. It is cool to have the app, though. You can lock the scooter with the app. Without the app, you can't lock it, making the wheels not move properly. There are 3 gears. ECO, which tops out at 10mph and seems most safe. Then there's "D,." It tops out at 15mps, and things start to get dangerous downhill, but it's fun. Then there's "S" mode, maybe "Sports" mode. The manual says 18 or 20mps, but you can gain momentum. Be careful with S Mode. I'm not trying to show off or race competitively. I use ECO mode almost exclusively, and the battery life is great for my short commutes. I should be charging it more than I do, but I use Eco mode. I barely have to charge it once or twice a week and then only if I feel like it. It's never gone dead on me.I know this thing is reducing wear and tear on my car. I've made so many trips on it; if I translated it into starting and driving my car plus gas consumption, it seems beneficial. I don't know if it is saving me money, but I suspect it probably is.

worked good for about 9 months
My son loved this for just under 9 months. He rarely used it for the first 3 months due to weather (bought for his birthday in late November) but around month number 6 started using it daily for the 1-mile commute to school. A few months later it stopped working. Sent an email to customer support but got no answer. After reading reviews it appears they will only honor a 6-month warranty, so I am buying another brand for my son with better warranty and customer service reviews. Looks like you get what you pay for in quality.***After going to at least 3 different places, this thing is unrepairable. was told the battery is "garbage" and have been unable to find another battery for scooter model specs. Not even on their website. Never heard back from customer support email. Determined this is a scooter only good for a season or two of good weather. It will not last through months of storage during cold weather.

It likes Flat terrain, they need to update the app.
Riding around my Neighborhood picking up short range stuff its a blast to use. saves on gas and helps get some fresh air when you are stuck inside all day. IT might take some time but getting a good feel of how far the battery can last will really open up some places for you. Its amazing for places that seem too far to walk, but too close to bother driving. If you are in school or in an office building, its great for going down the road to that little spot you have been meaning to try while on your lunch break. However around my college campus there are serious hills that will sap the battery dry in no time flat if you try to climb them with motor alone. Sitting near 40lbs its a bit troublesome to get through a building, and the latch used to fold it can occasionally become undone when picking it up, and the app needs an upgrade bad, keeps switching your speedometer settings and does not offer anything your scooter cannot already provide except the anti-theft wheel lock. (The only problem is if you ever need it by the time you get your phone out to use it the thief & scooter are out of range for bluetooth)All that being said this is a great starter scooter on a budget, if you have specialized needs you are better looking someplace else, but if you don't require much this is actually a perfect option for cruzing around and doing everyday short range commutes.

So far, an amazing scooter compared to my last one three years ago.
The price I paid on Amazon was low. There were others that were faster but this one had the best intersection of price, quality and favorable ratings (that I could find). My previous scooter was a lot like this one but slower by 5mph (8kph) and had less range. I haven't been able to do a full range test because I unboxed it this morning only, but it's fast for a $300 scooter (20mph/31kph).The main feature in highly recommend that is not that common are the solid (not inflatable) wheels. You might think... "solid wheels? How unomfortable!"But they have hollowed out spaces that absorb shock. And trust me, the innertubes on tiny 6 inch wheels are a PAIN to keep inflated and often impossible to find replacement tubes to match three original specs. These solid wheels kick butt and you won't be sorry you skipped the tubes that need to be pumped every two weeks before they fail and need replacing after a year.

Great Scooter
I bought this scooter as a birthday present for my 11 year old son. It has been perfect for him to ride to school with friends and play around the neighborhood. Although it is an adult scooter and I knew it would be a little big for him, I know it will get plenty of use. It is also easily portable as we have folded it up and put it in the trunk of my car to take to other friends houses to ride. I like that it is compact, the headlights is very useful for riding on summer nights, and the lock feature on the app. The only thing I would improve is the hook system when you fold the scooter. It does work, but would like it to lock in more secure. If the handle bars move the hook easily comes off and unfolds.Overall, great purchase, sturdy, reliable, portable.
