careful while winding
wind this thread slowly around the bobbins before loading, otherwise the pent-up elasticity unloads at odd moments while sewing and disrupts thread tensions. otherwise a handsome thread

Good for hand or machine sewing.
This thread is very strong and slides through my sewing machine smoothly. I had no breaks and it does not leave as much fuzz behind as others. Very happy with my purchase.

Low Quality
Was hoping this would replace a current thread that I use (same Tex). However, the quality is very different. This thread is fuzzy and hard to thread. It also is not the same thickness. You can visibly see a difference. The picture is of two Tex 40 threads side by side, with the bottom one being my current thread. The only reason the top thread looks similar in thickness is because it is so fuzzy.I make weight bearing products, so have to use a high quality thread I can trust. This is not it.

Thread kept breaking
Thread kept breaking, so I had to return it. Maybe it was old?
