Highly recommend! Just as described.
I will start off by saying that I don't write a lot of reviews. I have to either really like something, or really dislike something, in order for me to write a review. In this case, I am really impressed with these apricots and had to write about it immediately.I want to make it clear that I have NOT been compensated monetarily or otherwise for my review. I bought and paid for these apricots with my own money and all thoughts are my own. I feel this needs to be said because it is frustrating as a consumer to read misleading reviews on this site when we as consumers are just looking for honest opinions on a product before spending our hard earned cash!I have to admit, even though most of the reviews for this product were favorable, there were quite a few that were not and I was a bit skeptical ordering these. These apricots were sold by TheNewMall and fulfilled by Amazon Prime. The apricots I received from this seller are excellent and just as described. They are plump, flavorful, and quite large. Most of the apricots are larger than a 50 cent piece and a beautiful golden orange color, just like the product image. I have included with this review a picture I took with my phone of the apricots that I received with a quarter for scale.I do A LOT of holiday baking and candy making and I have had lots of different brands of dried fruits over the years. I only believe in buying quality ingredients for baking and candy making and these are quality! They may seem a little pricey but they are so worth the money. I can buy apricots in bulk locally for around $5-$6 a pound but they do not compare to these. These are the best apricots I have had. They are not sticky, nor too sweet. They smell and taste like apricots should. They are plump and tender, not at all leathery or difficult to chew. They will be perfect dipped in chocolate to give as gifts, which is my intended purpose for them. That is, if I don't eat all 3lbs in the next week before Christmas! These arrived very quickly. I ordered them the afternoon of 12/16 and they arrived on my doorstep at 10am 12/17.I highly recommend these Anna and Sarah apricots sold by TheNewMall. They are exactly as described. I couldn't be happier.I also purchased the Anna and Sarah mission figs from TheNewMall too and I am pleased with those too. I will also be writing a review on the figs.

Fibrous, sweet, and reasonably moist
I always like having some dried fruit around the house, and have some almost every day. I've had many varieties - my favorite is probably the half-dried apricots from Nuts.com. Many other varieties I find to have a slight bitterness to them. These, so far as I can tell, have no such flavor. They are sweet, have some nice chew to them, and are reasonably moist, maybe just a little less so than your standard store-bought types. They are also quite large, about the diameter of a ping pong ball or slightly less, so three are enough for a small snack. I have had not complaints about the quality of the product, no clear defects, no issues with freshness, etc.I would recommend these. If you want moist apricots you can go with the half-dried from Nuts.com. If you want something a bit more tart, look for sun-dried California apricots. But if you just want the general dried apricot experience, these are the best way to go.

The Best Dried Apricots
I've purchased these 4 times so far and they are the best dried apricots I've ever had. They have always been fresh, not overly dried, nice texture, great flavor, and a fair price. On the nutrition label it says a serving size is 5 apricots, providing 110 calories. I usually eat only two at a time since they are so huge. There is no added sugar, which is the only type I would ever buy. The apricots are preserved with Sulphur Dioxide, the usual preservative for dried apricots. Last year, for the first time, I tried another brand that had no preservatives. They were terrible, so I'll stick with the preserved ones.Other miscellaneous stuff:- The country of origin is Turkey. That seems to be the case with every brand I have ever tried. These are packaged in New Jersey.- I just received a new package in the mail. The Best-By Date is just over 16 months from today.- The package says to refrigerate for optimum freshness. I always do anyway since they seem to taste best when cold.

I love these!
I bought these to have an additional food-based, natural potassium source to add into my diet. I love eating 4-5 pieces each day, most days, and find they help avoid occasional muscle-cramping I'm prone to getting from time-to-time. If I eat them, I never seem to get cramps. If I skip them, I eventually do get cramps at some point again. The fruit quality, texture, freshness, and flavor of these are excellent. My only suggestion might be I wish they were dried just a bit more than they are, but not a big deal. The package reseals easily and keeps them fresh and bug-free. I will order these again in the future. Very satisfied with this purchase.
