I bought the Cooban bulb to replace the burnt out bulb in my Epson Powerlite 3500 home projector. It fit perfectly and was easy to install. Included are a screwdriver and lint free glove to help with the install. The picture was very bright with great color display. This bulb was much better than the last replacement bulb I purchased. Also it was delivered the next day and was packaged well. You will not be disappointed with this product.

So far so good. Installed the bulb 2 days ago and immediately noticed a brighter image. Only comment is I couldn’t get the screws to start after inserting the lamp. I tried 3 times without pushing to hard as I didn’t want to damage anything. On the 4th attempt I put a little extra pressure and was able to tighten everything up fine. Really happy so far on the quality of picture and the price.

Last less than 10 hours out of the box. My second time buying one. Forst one last a month. $90 down the toilet.Avoid at all costs.

Edit: Seller generously provided me with a replacement bulb (I didn’t even ask). So far so good10 months, 620 hoursThen the projector light started blinking and the bulb needed replacement

After a year and a half, the bulb started to flicker. So I put back the original bulb that I use for 7 years and it still worked great.

This bulb has hrs and hrs of non stop use when I’m not home my kids all day and once I get home at night I’m on it for hrsSo far over 2500 hrs lamp light on projector bud blinking but picture still looks perfectly fine amazing bulb

I was a bit nervous buying non-oem parts, especially the lamp, but much to my pleasure this did the trick.I am not a projector expert and I don’t have a side-by-side comparison. To me, if you hadn’t told me the lamp was replaced, I’d be none the wiser. Visually it looks the same to me. Same light canon visuals as before, maybe even brighter on account to it being newer? I’m unsure.Only time will tell how this holds up in the long run, but suffice it to say that at this price point, I’m fairly happy. My OEM projector died at 2200 hours on eco. Ideally, I’ll report back in a year or two, hopefully no soonerEdit: 1 year update, this bulb has withstood the trial of time. Still works, still bright. Would definitely recommend and will buy again.

I ordered this item initially because the OEM lamp for my Epson Home Cinema 3800 was out of stock. The Cooban was a feasible replacement as it worked initially. Once installed I reset the lamp hours counter.Sadly, the lamp went out in under 2 months. I contacted Amazon, and they were nice enough to refund me. Cooban was even nice enough to reach out and send me another lamp free of charge. I appreciated their gesture but I was now a little skeptical since their lamp had only lasted so shortly.Their replacement lamp arrived about 2 weeks ago. Today it stopped working. In the interim, I saw that Epson had their lamps back in stock, and hope I have better luck with those once they arrive.
