This was a last minute improvisation, and I made it work.Side note: I read that the end cap was supposed to come off so when you cut the strand to the desired length you can add the cap, I couldn’t remove the end cap. Frankly put, this is a one time use item for a very particular purpose; costumes for a night. And for that, frankly, they are awesome! 5 longish strands for 8.99?! Awesome. Perfect for the price and use. Dont rely on these for a life saving purpose, and you wont be disappointed. Yes, a little dim, but perfectly visable at night, And emphasized in twilight conditions. Friends could see me across a parking lot. buddy got the orange version, and as you can see in the photo, both stand out well.

Sewed them on to black sweatsuit for my sons halloween costume as a stick man, worked perfect!

Brightness or really lack there of. Didn't even cast light in a dark room just the wire glowed. All three of my controllers squeal so badly I can't use them on clothing and I really can't use them for a light up sign that was supposed to be bright enough to cast even any light in a bedroom. Wife won't turn them on without ear plugs. Kinda pointless for why I bought them. Will definitely be returning. Not worth it.

Decent for making a glowing illuminated strip, doesn't throw much light. The power supply is awful, it makes a a very high frequency wine the entire time there are on.

Expect some minor issues, like mine is missing the plastic connector on one of the 5 attachment points. However all the lines work, the battery pack works, and the lights have different modes and are bright enough at night. pretty good set overall.

These are AWESOME! My son wanted to have blue lights all over his costume and after considering other options, I was excited to find this product! I sewed the wires in place and made a pouch on the small of his back to hold the power supplies (used 2 sets). They made a slight buzz sound, but only audible in a quiet room. Note that their glow won't be noticeable if you're in a well lit room...so it was fun once the sun set on Halloween.
