I chose the Frigidaire toaster because it's American made, but seriously, it's far superior to every toaster I've bought over the past fifty years. It has wide slots---but pop tarts and waffles DON'T fall through, it toast everything you put in it evenly and exactly the way you want. Regular bread toast comes out very toasty/crispy on the outside, but still moist on the inside! I LOVE it. (And besides, it's super cute and looks nice on the counter)

I love this toaster! It’s beautiful! At first I burned 4 slices of toast with it set on 1! After reading another reviewer’s solution it works fine. You have to turn the settings knob back and forth a few times to fix the problem. Now it makes perfect toast!

I did not realize how bad my old toaster was, until I got this one ... which toasts (not dehydrates) the entire slice of bread EVENLY on BOTH sides ... the spring allows you to reach the toast without having to hold the lever up or reach in and get burned ... I really love this toaster - hope it last foreverLove this retro look, which matches my electric tea kettle ... I decided to paint the trim myself, to avoid paying extra for the copper paint to match the kettle I got on sale, with copper accents ... and will have enough paint to do my draw pulls and stove knobs to complete my copper kitchen look ( copper sink trim and ceiling tiles ) of my little farm house on the prairie

Overall..I'm very happy with this purchase...the only 1 thing i wish was better was how far up the toast pops up when done. I dont buy large sizes of my loaf bread and the smaller size doesnt pop up enough.Other than that...Perfect

I love the look and now using it I have to play around with the settings. The bagel setting has to be higher #5 and the toast has to be set lower like a number 2. Trial and error I burnt a few pieces of bread, but in all it is a great toaster.

The media could not be loaded. The toaster looks so adorable but a toaster, no matter how cute, is there for the purpose of toasting your bread. I followed the “Before first use” instructions before toasting my whole wheat bread, let toaster cool before toasting and set the toaster to lowest level and toaster still burned my bread, mainly on the top edge. I will continue the use of the toaster for a couple more days, use a a different bread and see if the toasters performance improves, if it does I’ll update this review.UPDATE: It's been 7 days of daily use and the toaster hasn't improved, it’s still toasting bread way too much on level one setting. I Really want this toaster to work so I've ordered a replacement. Will update on replacements performance. Keeping my fingers crossed.UPDATE: Replacement came and also had the same issue. I’ve returned it and ordered a different brand. Disappointing.

This toaster looks great in my kitchen. Love the bagel setting the most. Also like the cancel button that immediately pops up the toast.
