Widemouth Replacement HT/Oly Skimmer Gasket Set

Q: Is this compatible with a wide Hayward skimmer? Would the holes match up ok?

I have a wide mouth Hayward skimmer which came with a one piece gasket. When I switched pool liners I had to replace the gasket. After receiving the new gasket, the holes lined up but I had to trim about a quarter inch off the inside edge top and bottom so that it would not go inside the skimmer box hole. Wasn’t hard to do just had to trim before install. Hope this helps

Q: Can you use this and cut your own skimmer hole?

With the mating plastic fitting, yes. You do lose some depth but it's worth it.

Q: Does Above Ground Wide Mouth Pool Skimmer Gasket come in package of 2

Yes it does, but make sure to use magic seal when installing it it will leak, the gasket does not completely seal the fitting. Hope that helps.
