RAZOR SHARP❗️
Razor sharp! Small, light weight period Spring action for flip blade is very quick and convenient. Smith & Wesson deafly makes great products as we all kno; that’s pocket knife I’ve ever had period I’ll never order a different kind ever again

Fast, one-handed flipper action.
The media could not be loaded. Great EDC with smooth, fast, one-handed spring assisted action and liner lock mechanism, with a 3 inch long 8Cr13MoV stainless blade. The G10 scales on the handle provide a good amount of grip, while keeping the knife more lightweight than its appearance would have you believe. Feels great in my little hands, and opens lightening fast. This is a budget blade, so I didn't expect any of the finer details you can expect to see on knives from Benchmade, and you shouldn't either. This knife isn't trying to be something that its not, but what it does bring quite a bit to the table for what it is.1. Great one-handed open and close action2. lightweight 3 inch blade makes it perfect for EDC3. 8Cr13MoV stainless is a good mix of edge retention and being easy to resharpen4. Ergonomic design, means your hand and fingers naturally fit along the knife making it safer to use and carry5. Secure liner lock mechanism is easy to push while maintaining the knife position securely6. Sandblasted blade finish7. Large loop at the end of the handle is perfect for paracord8. Deep carry pocket clip so you don't have to worry about the knife slipping out of your pocketA couple things to keep in mind:1. Mine did not arrive razor sharp, far from it, but 8Cr13MoV was easy to sharpen up to the point where I could shave my arm hair.2. The spine is a little rough, again, showing its solid placement in the budget EDC knife category, as expected.3. Arrived with the blade a little bit off center. Again, easy adjustment to make and nothing unexpected from a knife in this category.BOTTOM LINE: The Smith&Wesson Sear brings back the Warncliffe blade design in a well designed spring assisted 3 inch folder, that lends itself well to a budget oriented EDC. - expectations met and even a little exceeded by the great spring assisted flipper action it has. Five stars.Photos show the S&W Sear next to a Kershaw Am-3 for comparison. While the Kershaw has a better finish, the Sear feels better in my smallish hands.

Great knife for the price
My husband is impressed with this knife at this price point, and he's retired Army so he is no stranger to knives. He expected it, based on the price, to be typical of what he calls "Walmart knives", by which he means they do the job of a pocket knife (very basic, no frills, sharp enough to do some basic cutting, pretty generic) but are not very impressive and don't last long. However, this knife is a step above those. The quality of the blade is very nice--it was sharp right out of the package. It is solid but lightweight, and it looks sleek instead of stodgy like many lower-priced knives. He loves the ease of the opening mechanism--the finger flip allows you to open in with only one hand, so if you're holding something and trying to cut it (like a rope) you can open the knife with just one hand (it requires two to close, for safety). It has a nice textured grip so that it doesn't slip easily from your hand. It is made in China, which is the only thing he doesn't like about it, but it's a good low priced knife that is somewhere between a typical small pocket knife and a too-large-to-reasonably-carry knife. It also has a belt-clip, which is a useful touch. He recommends this knife for general purposes at this price point.

This is an excellent EDC knife. Comes very sharp. Very nice 8Cr13MoV steel, not a super steel but very good, better than nearly all of my buck, schrade, gerber or kershaw blades. Love the Wharncliffe shape of the blade; it is excellent for cutting. The assist works great, it comes open quickly and the locking mechanism holds very tight. Easy to close and easy to open. An extra nice feature is that this knife has jimping both on the top of the knife and on the bottom, for double strength of grip. Keeps a nice grip even when the knife is wet. Top quality for the price. Highly recommend.

A great all-purpose knife
This is a very well made knife and my son loves that it's a great size for keeping in his pocket. It's lightweight and fits nicely in his hand, and has enough grip for him to hold it securely. The finger flip opening mechanism is easy to use and responds quickly. It's not a super expensive knife and it's pretty basic, but it's does exactly what my son requires of it - cut stuff.

Great Quality & Design
This S&W M&P Sear knife is a great every day carry knife. It is compact enough for a front pocket but strong enough to do business at home, work, or outdoors. I like the sleek slightly techie look and ergonomic feel. The G10 handle inserts offer superb grip and the assisted opening is strong and crisp. The liner lock holds tight too. The blade isn't particularly sharp out of the box but it isn't hard to remedy. One thing to note is that it requires some force to open one-handed. Overall I love the design and the quality level is good. Excellent EDC.

Great every day carry knife, extremely easy to open
The Smith & Wesson M&P Sear knife is very easy to pop out with the "finger flipper" while the knife safely stays open with the liner lock. It is also extremely easy to grip due to its design and the G-10 handle. The knife has some initial resistance when closing so that you don't accidentally cut your finger. The pocket clip is non-removable and very strong.Overall, this is a great knife for every day carry (EDC) and I love how easy it is to open and close. I think it might be my new favorite, highly recommend!
