Clamps for wood projects
They are heavy enough to clamp wood pieces while gluing . The bars are heavy enough for light to medium projects , clamping force is good . Great price !

Ordered 4, 1 was defective coz it kept slipping. I emailed seller and they promptly sent me a replacement. In fact, I thought they didn't respond because I missed to see their reply until I actually got the replacement in my mailbox. The product itself does what it was designed to do. It looks really really sturdy except for the plastic thingy at the end of both sides. But all clamps have that problem anyway. So product is good. Customer support is very good! If not for that 1 defective clamp (that was later on replaced -- thank you!), I would have given this 5 stars.

These are not Heavy Duty, I would call them Medium duty. A few of them some of the cast metal was bent where handle tightener goes through. So it does not clamp your work straight. Rivets falling out of wooden handle so I will have to replace with screws. Overall I won't return them due to a project I need them for but would not by again.

Value for your money
These are great! They aren't perfect. You will need to add the final work to make them perfect. I spent about 30 minutes filing down the face of the fixed jaw and then put a soft, sticky back refrigerator magnet, cut to size, on it since the plastic caps fell off right away. The bar is made from 3/8 steel as opposed to 1/4 on the more expensive clamps. That doesn't effect the clamping power. These are really a good deal. Value for my money. They have already earned a permanent home in my shop.

They do not hold!
The two pieces of metal that are supposed to bind against the bar when tightening must be made out of soft metal because they just kept slipping after only a few times of light use. I agree with all the negative reviews.Update; I filed down the rivet at the end of the bar, and slid the screw handle section off the bar. Then reverse the 2 medal binding pieces, and reinstalled them with the spring. It will now hold again, but will wear again I'm sure. Next time use a rat tail file to recondition them.

Good for the cost
They work reasonably well for cheap clamps. Nothin’ fancy and kind of so-so quality... but what do you expect for the price.
