Why did you pick this product vs others?:I love this ski jacket. I've never purchased items for skiing and didn't really want to be out a lot of money, but I did want to stay warm. I was very pleased with this purchase. The ski jacket was well made, durable, beautiful color, and I never once got cold.

The jacket is super warm! Everyday comfortable. Weight is perfect, not heavy but not light. Rain nd snow just bounces right off. I've been in freezing cold weather with just a t-shirt (sleeveless) under this jacket and I was toasty! You won't be disappointed!

Compré esta chaqueta para temperatura extrema en Islandia y no me defraudó. Estuve a -15°C y, aunque tenía dos capas debajo, la chaqueta tuvo un papel fundamental. Es impermeable, de muy buenos materiales y su interior de piel la hace increíble. Es la mejor compra para climas extremos y hará que disfrutes mucho más tus actividades. Ahora que volví, la utilizo de vez en cuando para eventos muy fríos o incluso festivales.Recomiendo comprar la talla grande, para poder usar capas debajo.

I needed a new coat for doing chores and outside work. I need something that can stand up to the cold and sometimes brutal North Dakota winters. Today, 12/11/2024, we're under a cold weather advisory. When I went out to do chores it was -9 with a windchill of -30 degrees. The wind is brutal. I layered with a cold weather underlayer and a heavy sweatshirt on top. When outside I could feel a temperature variance but it wasn't so much that it was uncomfortable. Unless I was doing an activity such as cutting wood, snowshoeing or hiking that generates body heat I doubt I'd stay comfortably warm for an extended time below zero. There is a big difference between this coat and my previous down-filled coat in that regard.Construction seems sturdy. It's a nice-looking coat. The material is not wrinkle-proof. It has some serious creases from shipping, but they may loosen up. The hood is awful only because it doesn't have an adjustment strap on the top. It will serve a purpose in brutal winds. The zippers are plastic. The main zipper is heavy and I expect it will hold up as well as other similar zippers I've had. The pocket zippers are fine tooth. The pockets are deep. I like that if I shove my gloves in my pockets I won't worry about them falling out. Two heavy snaps are located at the top and bottom of the zipper flap. It would have been nice to have a couple more in between to help keep the wind out.I'm 4' 11" and 180 pounds. I bought a large. It fits quite well. The sleeves are a tad long, but with the velcro strap adjusted they stay up. The overall length just barely covers my rear. The coat is tailored well for layering. No tight shoulders or arms and no fitted waistline.All in all, this was an excellent purchase and a steal at $39.99. I've already recommended it to another friend who also does daily outside chores. Bundle up!

This jacket is perfect for me. It's not too heavy but keeps me warm and dry. Bought to go from Florida weather back up north and it kept me very comfortable. Would purchase again and do recommend.

I was not expecting this jacket to be such high quality when I got it. Do not hesitate! It's not bulky like some winter jackets are, and I liked how comfortable it is to wear. It is warm! I got it when winter was being it's most rude and I'm so glad I did. Very pretty, excellent price. I also like how the hood works and fits.

When I read all of the positive reviews, and saw the discounted price, I figured I would give this coat a shot. As someone who is chronically cold, this coat sounded wonderful. When I received the item it came in a vacuum sealed bag which did create a lot of wrinkles in the coat, but the color was as ordered. I wear a size small, but was hesitant about ordering a small coat in case I wanted to layer underneath, but I took a chance and ordered the small anyway. I took it out of the bag and noticed that it looked big for a small. I tried it on and it was huge. Especially in the width of the arms. I definitely could fit multiple layers under the coat. However the arms are too short. They hit just above the wrist when in a relaxed position, and if you go to reach for something they ride right up. I am also not a fan of the adjustable wrist, the velcro on them gets snagged on everything. When you zip up the coat it goes all the way up to the chin. But then if you use the hood, you have to pull it super tight to fit your head, if you velcro the hood together, it puts pressure on the front of the neck and digs in. Very uncomfortable and limits your head and neck movement. The length of the coat is okay, however it is not adjustable and because the coat fit so big, I think it would allow cold air to go up underneath, And if you're wearing it skiing or out in the snow, it for sure will allow snow and moisture to get up in there. I liked that the inside of the coat was "fur" lined, downside was the manufacturers did not carry that material into the arms of the coat. By this point I knew I was going to return it, but I figured let me see how it holds up outside. I went outside on a cold, very windy, winter day where wind chills are 11 degrees and I will admit I did not feel any of the cold wind coming through the coat. I really wanted to love this and have it be my go to but sadly I can't say that. For now I will stick to my current winter coat, and will probably look at buying a more reputable, more well-known brand.
