Used to make these a lot as a kid. Decided to get it again. Same quality (sometimes products change overtime and become worse quality but these are good).

This is a great way to teach children how to weave; however it produces a small potholder. In the photo, on the left is a potholder I made as a child. The potholder in the middle is one I made today using a more expensive kit with a metal loom and thicker loops. The one in the middle is what I was expecting. The one on the right is from this kit with thinner loops, plastic frame and a plastic hook. The colors of the loops in this kit are very pretty. The actual finished size of the potholder made with this kit is 5 x 4 3/4".

Good value and colors are ok

This product is a good value for the price. I first bought one thinking my kiddos would share but ended up buying a second one because they both enjoyed it so much. Far as the sturdiness goes, it is plastic and I’ve noticed some of the posts on the loom are starting to show signs of wear and weakness. Also the hook used to weave the pieces is plastic and is growing weak near the hook. But a new hook can easily be made out of a coat hanger. My only other complaint is that the instructions a terrible. Fortunately I knew what I was doing and had experience using these type looms as a child myself, not to mention better instructions or even how-to videos can easily be found online. For the price, I will probably buy this again tho if either of the looms break and the kids are still interested in it.

Love this brings back childhood memories

Bought for a step granddaughter who constantly wants craft items to keep busy. It may be an old craft but everyone always needs a pot holder. She loved it.

Exactly what I was looking for. The same old school loom I had as a kid

Although my 8-yr-old granddaughter loved making the potholders and the "kit" certainly has a generous amount of "loops," the plastic frame isn't very strong and the loops really need to be stretched, and, as a result, by the time all the loops are put on in both directions, the loom is a bit lopsy-flopsy. Plus the little knobbies at the end of each prong kind of make it difficult to remove the loops when finishing the pot holder. None the less, my granddaughter LOVED this and was just totally thrilled to be making pot holders!
