Hidden Camera Detecto with Power Bank, HD 1080P Portable Mini Camera No Audio Video Recorder Motion Detector

This thing works well for me. Here are my reversed-engineered instructions:- Make sure it’s fully charged. Otherwise the video will stop after 5 seconds- Insert SD card. I’m using one that much bigger than recommended by the seller (256GB) and it’s working fine- Place the device such that the H2 logo is facing upward. Otherwise videos and photos will come out upside down- Long-press the circule button near the SD card slot (this circule button controls recording. The oval button on the other side shows battery level). Expect steady blue light followed by steady red light- In this state, if you short-press the circular button once, a photo will be taken (expect one pause then steady red light). Repeat for more photos- In the same state, long-press the button, red light will flash three times, the device enters recording mode- In recording mode, the device will record 20min video, sleep for 20min, then record again, sleep again…- To exit recording mode, long-press the button, when the red light quickly flashes three times, it’s offPicture, video (and voice) quality are acceptable to me. I don’t want to give it one star, but I have to just to get past this page it’s not very user-friendly the battery life sucks you have to format the SD card and the device for Mac or just do the SD card and insert that into your computer. I’ve tried this thing for 2 1/2 weeks and then the best I’ve gotten is two videos. I thought there was motion detection on it but there’s not if you’re looking at this model move to the next one. That’s just my opinion. I hope I hope somebody.

The power bank's battery life is quite amazing, and you can leave it going for hours, and pick it up when you'd like to see what happened in the last 2 hours thanks to its loop recording feature. I had an issue where the sound and video were off by about 3 seconds, but this was resolved by changing the micro-sd card to a better one (look for class 10 and above, and preferably uhs speed class 2 or 3-- the fact that it loops is exceptionally useful. I tested it to be able to fit around 2 hours of footage, and, if you need more, like I did, I would simply swap out the microsd card and hit record again; easy! The fact that it charges my iphone 7 in less than an hour is also extremely useful, as a power bank it's got the power for sure. It also holds on to charge for LONG amounts of time when not in use. Had mine fully charged, didn't touch it for a week, and it was still fully charged. Damn. All in all, a versatile product for long-term inconspicuous camera work. Highly recommend!

The vendor recently contacted me and offered to refund or replace the item. I chose to give it a second chance and requested a replacement. So far the item has been working fine. The video is "Ok". It works for my needs. The only thing is that the audio is not that good - but for my particular needs, i don't need the audio.OLD REVIEW:Recently i ordered this cam and when i got it, IT WAS USED and Broken. It looks like it had been used for several months before i got it. the battery case was dented and scratched. the TF card reader, was bent and it did not allow you to insert an SD card in it without taking it apart.Save your money... spend it elsewhere. This one is going back.

I use these products for my work and they work great but these particular cameras that I just ordered for backups have black covered lenses for the IR function. All the other cameras I have ordered and received have clear lenses for the IR function. When you turn the IR function on with these particular cameras, everything goes to black and white color. All the other cameras with the clear lenses for the IR function still pick up color when you turn the IR function on. What's up with that?

**UPDATE** I have STILL been unsuccessful in getting the camera to operate properly. I went ahead and sent the device back about 3 weeks ago but have yet to see a refund. I was contacted by the seller who informed me that they will be sending out a replacement item and offered in depth support if I experience issues. I was also told that I will be given a full refund as well to accommodate for the inconvenience. I will be posting another review upon receiving the replacement item.Haven’t been able to get any SD card to read anything from the camera on any device I attempt to use. Can’t get the IR lights to turn off.

The HD 1080p quality is amazing. I took it out of the box and within minutes (easy set-up) I was already taking photos and recording/testing out unit. It is easy device to use. Also, when it came time to connect to computer and view and transfer files.....wow!!! .....it was very easy to navigate and view the files. I plan to buy 2 more of these units. I really like the fact that I don't need to connected to wifi in order for this unit to continuously record. I would definitely recommend this unit for not only good price/value....but for easy of use and does what it promises to do!!!

Video quality is great. Sound lags a little but nothing extreme. The camera came with the SD slot not properly placed but big thanks to Crystal the seller for helping me trouble shoot the issue and went above and beyond to get a new 1 sent to me ASAP. Communication was impeccable!
