It says "2 in 1 USB..."In actuality, it only receives power via the USB connector. It is NOT recognized by the system as a USB device. The way it works is through the 1/4" connector, so it is a "1/4" audio connector receiver/transmitter, USB powered."If you are thinking of using this thing as a USB bluetooth device for a desktop/laptop then this is not the device for you. I returned mine for a full refund.

This device is not very great, but it does the job. I've had this for a few months now and it occasionally loses connection with my bluetooth headphones just without warning. I don't like that it only works when plugged into a USB port so it's not as accessible as I want it to be for other devices because they don't have a USB port. If it transmitted the way I wanted, I would like it better. It works great for my computer and listening through my bluetooth headphones. However if I plug it into my TV, it works, but I can't plug my aux audio cord all the way in or only one side of my headphones will work. So once you find the sweet spot where you get sound through both sides of the headphones while plugged into it, then leave it as that, but you can't put it all the way in if you want sound in both sides of the headphones. USB goes in all the way, but not the cord. For the price, it's not bad and did the job that I needed it to do, transmitting my computer and television anyway. Otherwise, I would go for something better and more reliable in it's connectivity that can be used for everything you want out of it, which is transmitting and receiving without any problems for any device.

It was cheap and all but it is not a bluetooth transmitter you have to connect the usb part and the aux cable in order to work i can see it like for a tv or a non Bluetooth stereo

I've tried two versions of this product and it's the same problem a ton of crackling and noise the second it turns on and the noise is extremely noticeable and very distracting, a terrible product sadly but at least it didn't destroy my Computer or my ear drums!

only rcvd 1 of 3 so far & it works as transmitter , but lose signal & have to restart often .

Piece of cra.. do not waste your time and money on this.
