I do like this sponge for needle felting. It’s much firmer than any other sponge mat I’ve had so it hardly dips at all when I’m probing my wool. In turn that makes it much easier to get a crisp and accurate result. Very pleased, I’m going to buy some more.

This is a good thickness - since using it I haven't managed to stab my leg once.

Not a good product for felting. Very dusty. Grabs and holds the wool fibers.

I have used many different sponges for my needle felting but these are definitely the best.
