Unable to contact seller. Leash ripped in a week.
This leash was great for about a week and then it started to tear. I would have contacted the seller directly instead of posting a review, however I could not find any way to do this. The first photo shows the ripped leash. The second photo shows how I reinforced it with nylon. I have a 5 month old 15 lb. mini goldendoodle puppy so it's not like it is a large dog using the leash.

Not even close to being 3/4" wide. Very flimsy!
When I bought this lead, it was touted as being 3/4th of an inch thick. That is the size I wanted and I was happy to find one at a decent price. It is not even half that width. It is very thin and very flimsy. I have a 15 pound Yorkie and I wouldn't trust her on this long leash. It looks as though it will snap at any time. The clasp barely closes all the way and it is super cheaply made. I am SO disappointed in this lead! I was going to return it but my husband threw it out before I could get it packaged up and returned. He didn't want to mistakenly grab that leash and end up with our Yorkie running off because of breakage. I am still on the hunt for a 3/4" long leash/lead that really IS that width. This was a misleading listing and I am very unhappy with that and the quality of the leash I received.

$8.99 for a 3/4 inch wide, 20' leash?
Try to find that at your local or big box pet store. It's not the sexiest leash out there, but it is a great and functional tool for training purposes and get the job done. Excellent value!I see no problem at all with this being suitable for any large breed dog as far as holding power-unless they chewed through it like would be possible with any canvas material leash. But these are not made to tether a dog for any extended period, and are, of course, primarily for recall training purposes.

Not what I expected
The leash I received was much thinner than what I expected. Does not seem as durable as advertised. Due to the fact that it is a much smaller width than I thought, the leash really hurts your hands if your dog pulls or jerks. The metal latch is also VERY SMALL, it barely clips all the way around my dogs metal hoop on his collar. Maybe for a small dog, this leash would work good. I do really like the length though, great for training or if you just want extra length when walking your dog.

This lead allows us to take our dog more places
My husband and I travel quite a bit and we never leave home without our golden retriever, Riley, with us. Riley associates his leash with walking, hiking, playing, etc. so I knew I needed to get something different for when we would take him out to eat with us and this agility lead turned out to be absolutely perfect. Last weekend we were in Ohiopyle and on Father's Day I took hubby out to dinner, hubby was so worried that the longer lead would allow Riley too much leeway to roam and get into trouble but from the moment I snapped this lead onto his harness he laid down and relaxed and allowed us to enjoy a very nice dinner in a very busy pub (with chicken and roosters roaming the grounds nonetheless and Riley never so much as got up). We will also use this for beaches that don't allow dogs off leash to swim in the ocean or bay, we have already purchased a 50 foot one in addition to this one and I won't leave home without either. Highly recommend for all pet owners.

Great lead
I really like this lead. I purchased for my energetic corgi puppy for hiking and recall work. I'm probably not the only one who doesn't jump for joy when trying to walk with an independent, ornery puppy. Walking and hiking was so frustrating! The yanking! The pulling! The "I'm not heckin' done sniffing this stick behind you" stall out. The STINK EYE! But this lead line gives her the freedom to explore and me the satisfaction of watching her travel twice the distance as me without having to worry about her running away. The lead material is very sturdy. Despite catching on every imaginable branch, getting tangled and getting dragged through mud, this lead has no snags or signs of wear. The clip is also very sturdy and not too heavy for a 25lb woolybear on speed. Of course, gathering the slack is the only drawback, but totally worth having the flexibility to keep her at my side, or let her (try) to run off into the wild yonder.

Poor quality bolt snap
Quality nylon webbing, and well-sewn end loop and hook attachment. However, the company chose to use a low-quality, light-duty and small bolt snap hook for the end. Feels like zinc die cast. I absolutely do not trust it, and will replace the hook with a high quality bronze trigger snap. The "Fabri-Tech, Inc. Training Length Nylon Leash" looks to have a higher-quality bolt snap - probably should have bought that one.

Perfect for playtime in unfenced areas
With a rambunctious 6-month Jack Russell puppy who NEEDS to fetch outside for hours on end and no fence around the yard, this was quite easily the best ten bucks I’ve spent in recent memory. A lifesaver for running about with an energetic dog. Purchased the 40-foot length and have found the material and hardware strong but lightweight. Gets a little tangled when reeling it in but it’s basically a long bit of rope so this is expected. Simple product with a simple purpose. Could not say how this would work for a very large or strong dog, but our 17 pound pup has pulled on it quite a bit during outdoor sessions without issue or strain to the material.
