Really good option for a gimbal stabilizer at a good price
I took this out for a try when it arrived, started with a fast walk, took it to a bit of a run and then got in the car with it and it kept the video fluid and looking like it never a hit a bump, I’m impressed by the quality of video achieved with this gimbal handheld video camera stabilizer. If you’re not familiar with the term gimbal, a gimbal is a tool that uses both intelligent sensors and motors to stabilize and support a camera. It stabilizes the camera as you move it up and down, back and forth or side to side allowing you to get smooth footage or photos. This stabilizer uses 3 separate counter-weights allowing precise adjustments, has a rubber mounting surface and a rubber handle grip. This stabilizer is well made and a great price, very sturdy. It’s made from aluminum alloy which contains almost no iron so it won’t rust, allowing it to be used in water, but it will oxidize and if used in water, this will happen pretty quickly but will also protect it from further corrosion. You may have to spend a few minutes to get the counterweight set exactly right for your camera but it’s worth the time to have your footage look like it was shot by a pro. It’s well made, very sturdy, mine did come with a little bit of a burr in one spot but that was easy to buff outThis is a great product for a really good price and it works really well. I’m quite pleased with it.

Complete Garbage, Don’t Waste Your Money
1. My package arrived damaged.2. The items seemed to be already used and returned by another customer.3. The top screw did not secure into my Canon 77D Camera, letting it slide back and forth. This can be a risk of dropping and also scratched the bottom of my camera.4. The gimbal is actually two parts connected by another screw that barely holds them together, which is another risk of dropping.5. The weights are either too heavy or too light either way you adjust them.

price point is good but hard to use
My husband films podcasts and videos with his electronic Gimbal. soemtimes he wants two cameras but Gimbals are very expensive. I saw this as a flower cost alternative but it is pretty difficult to use. He has the iPhone 11 pro max and this can hold that weight easily but there were no instructions and it was hard to figure out the setup. The packaging is nice but its not a good comparison if you have the auto adjusting gimbal. You have to be precise to get the weight and stuff even with this.

A Good, Cheap Option
This device is what it is a cheap device to steady any videos your planning on taking. Although I would say far from perfect. But it works. A word of warning though it has no more than just basic instructions and that's on the box. I had to use the photo on this site just to figure out how to position the camera. Also 2 major things, that weighted bar right where it swings. It needs oil. Also the screw that holds the camera in place is a bit too long. I had to cut a piece of the packaging to find a filler piece.Lastly it says it comes with a limited 1 year warranty. One very major problem it has no address anywhere inside or outside the box where to mail it too. So in reality assume no warranty.

Inexpensive way to get the most out of your old DSLR
You could spend $300 for a full fledged gymbal for your old $300 DSLR camera, or you could save some money and still get the most out of your older and bulkier cameras. Yes it takes some time and patience to dial everything into place and achieve good balance, but it's worth spending the 20 minutes or so that it took me to find the sweet spot. Generally the heavier your camera, the lower you will want to place the counter weight. The threaded nut can be moved around to give you more options to mount the camera as sometimes the lenses placement of the camera cause its center of gravity to be off centered. Over all this is a good product for the price. It's not a professional tool by any mean, but it's also priced right. The metal pieces are anodized which is nice, although the edges can be deburred a little bit more to make it not so sharp in some places. If you're looking for an inexpensive way to get the most out of your older, heavier camera, I would recommend this product.

Hard to use.
This grip seemed like a good purchase, but once I opened the box I was very disappointed. The weights are hard to balance. It doesn't even balance with a Nikon D700 DSLR. Super hard to set up to even start using. Maybe I suck at putting it together. Maybe it sucks as a product. The grip is cheaper than most grips of this style. So you do get what you pay for. I want to be fair and give it some stars for being made of metal.

Try as I may, I could never get this thing to work properly
I shouldn't have purchased this. Despite trying over and over again, along with watching instructional videos on how to calibrate this kind of stabilizer, I could never get this stabilizer to balance properly with any of my cameras. Not only that, but the screw that fixes the camera to the stabilizer is too long, which caused frequent problems with keeping the camera in a fixed position, which is necessary for stabilization. I ended up wedging a small disc between the camera and the base to try to eliminate the extra space, but that wasn't terribly successful either. Also, the screw that attaches the arm that holds the bottom counterweights to the main frame would easily come loose and would shred my fingers when I would try to tighten it.I regret my purchase.

Well worth the price
The item is very well made. It certainly stabilizes my camera when I am panning slowly. This is not a gyro unit and will not cancel jerking or other rapid movements but it does smooth out a lot of the unwanted camera motion. It is a gimbaled handle with selectable counterweights.
