Very accurate, with a wide range of measuring features. I use mine to measure the temperature of my pizza oven and it does the job flawlessly.

Was after something to find cold spots around the home as I'm planning on insulating this winter and would like to see the benefits. I've already found several cold spots as the nights get colder. I do find myself measuring the temperature of random things but I'm sure I'll get over it.

This is great to check for thermal bridges around your house, especially around window frames. To avoid mold growth surface temperature should be more than 15C otherwise (depending on internal conditions) the condensation might occur.I also use it in the kitchen when cooking :)

I bought this to check the insulation of my house. Accuracy may be disputed, but is it is adeqate to pick out the areas where the loft insulation needs attention. I have also used it to isolate the areas within my computer equipment where items may be overheating. Well worth the price.

Well, I think I received a rogue unit!Tested it on boiling water like a reviewer suggested and it was reading 225! Next time a different reading!Bought this for my vivarium to obtain accurate temps.Returning for a refund
