This was heavenly to lie down on because it was much firmer than my previous, too soft, 4 year old mattress. For me, however, being a large person, I probably should have shopped for an extra firm (which isn't so easy to find in a twin mattress in my experience). This mattress is very comfortably firm right now, and probably perfect for an average size person, or a guest room in my opinion, but I personally would try to find an extra firm next time around. I must say, though, that I would buy this mattress again for the rest of the family and maybe even for myself again if it holds the (average) firmness that is has right now. Ask me in 4/5 years....

If you love a superfirm mattress, then this is the one for you. Initially the mattress felt as though I was lying on a bed of cement, but after a few nights of sleeping on it, it's not bad, and what I was looking for. Having suffering with a bad back, this mattress was just what the doctor ordered. I can't say it any other way though, this mattress is not soft at all, so if you're not looking for super firm, look at another mattress....

I've had it for a week for our guest bedroom. So far it is great.Pros:1. Delivered intact, not as a rolled mattress2. Very firm, as it's supposed to be3. Very comfortable, if you like firmCons1. Delivery company was lazy. Although it was free shipping with Prime, it came 1 day late and they would not place it inside our front door. They placed it outside on our front porch, with the threat of rain coming that day.

This mattress is quite comfortable and firm at the same time. My old mattress was giving me back pain and so I purchased a firm mattress of another manufacturer. My back was still hurting. I returned the new mattress and bought this mattress! Wow! I don't know how my back pain went off in 2 days! This mattress is giving me good support for my back and am able to sleep quite well. I have used the mattress only for a week's time and am not sure how long it will hold the firmness. Overall I am very happy with the quality of the bed.

It definitely feels like it provides good support, but it's got a very pillowy, soft top that feels similar to memory foam. To me, this is super comfortable and I fall asleep right away. If you are looking for a harder-feeling firmness, you might not like it.

Think of this as a disposable mattress. It is ok but be aware this thing is as hard as a rock. I ended up running out and buying a thick 3" pad for $175 to place on it to make it bearable.

We are happy with this mattress. It performs as expected and didn't have any defects or damage when we received it. It's comfortable and the price was right consistent with the product we received.

This mattress is definitely firm yet it is also very comfortable. I use it with the Sleep Master Platform Metal Bed Frame/Mattress Foundation. The bed is just the right height (about 26") with a 27" nightstand.I haven't slept on the mattress long enough to know how it will hold up but, for now, I'm very happy. Delivery did take a little longer than I expected.
