These smell AWFUL!
The headline says it all. I was excited to use these for a slumber party with a small group of 8-9 year olds. Other pre-mixed facial packages have so many mystery ingredients in them. I thought I'd order these and then make something that really organic and pleasant. These arrived in a cute little bag, but when I opened the first packet, I was stunned by the stench. I was sure that it was a mistake, so I opened a few more. Nope. They all smelled awful. No idea what could be in them to cause it, but there was no chance I was putting these things anywhere near my or the kids' faces!

Second purchase
I bought it for the second time. The quality of the mask is very tough. I think it can be recommended.

Perfect for homemade facials
What is this? This is a set of 100 compressed facial masks. They do not have any moisturizer, lotion, serum, etc. on the masks so they are good for people who may have skin sensitivities who want to create their own facial serums. How do you use them?Just take the small compressed facial mask and run it under some water. The facial mask expands and then you unfold it.Do they rip?As with any facial mask, you need to unfold them carefully to avoid ripping them. I had no problem unfolding mine without ripping it. I took my time and moved the mask around carefully. Are they big enough for my face?I'd say they are medium sized--they cover the majority of the face but it doesn't extend fully to the hairline and jawline. I thought it was adequate.Where you I find facial mask recipes to use with my facial masks?Simply search under "Facial Mask Recipes" and create your facial mask serum. Dip the facial mask into the serum and apply to your face.PROSCompact, simple to use, allows you to personalize your mask, perfect for people with skin sensitivitiesCONSEach facial mask is wrapped in its own plastic wrapper--too much single use plastic for my liking. Hopefully the company can find an alternative.OVERALL: 5 stars! It is exactly what it claims to be and works well.

Masks + Oil = Economical Facials
You have a choice. Buy beautiful face masks, individually wrapped with luscious goop, at several dollars per mask. Or, buy 100 compressed masks that don’t take up space, for the price of about two facial masks, and use easily-obtainable oils to make deliciously fragrant facials at home.So you can probably tell which method I prefer! These compressed masks are so easy. They are tiny and travel-friendly, and fit easily in my crowded bathroom cupboard. The masks are simple and thin, and work very well.I combined argan, jojoba, jasmine, tea tree, and vitamin E oils in the bottom of a little mason jar. The oil by itself will NOT cause the mask to de-compress so that was a failure. But then I poured in some homemade rose water (rose-petal-infused water, that’s all) to make it less viscous, and that works like a charm. The masks smelled SO GOOD. I kept mine on for at least 20 minutes before it started to dry out and come off, then I used the remaining oil on the mask over my arms and legs. My face felt awesome.Perfect for at-home spa day with friends, or a touch of relaxation during a trip.

Super little facial masks!
I wasn't sure what to expect from these compressed facial masks in terms of quality, as reviews were across the board. But, they far exceeded my needs and expectations! They are about the size of three dimes stacked, and are embossed with little flowers on top, which is really just a pretty presentation. They expand easily with moisture, I mixed up my own serum solution with essential oil, and it was easy to soak and unfold. I worried I would have to be super delicate so as not to tear the paper, but these are more of a fabric than tissue. In fact, I opened one up to test it's durability. I used some warm water, added some dish soap and went to town scrubbing my basin. No tears, no ripping, no holes. (In fact it cleaned up really well). I used some extra pulling pressure on the cut parts, mouth, eyes chin, and as expected had tears and stretching happen, but that was with abnormal applied pressure. They didn't smell, they didn't feel weird, and they fit great. For the relaxing usage of a home facial these little compact masks are perfect. I know exactly what I'm putting on my face.
