its smaller then it looks
It is very small but will work for current project

Tightness of right-angle holds not accurate
Easy set up but melanine parts create an inaccurate right-angle hold to the item being held. Rockler sled probably more accurate to use for spline cuts

Poorly made
Turns out this is an MLCS product and has their poor made-in-China quality. Faults:1. Instructions are poor and have typos. The smaller t-bolt (item H) is used to attach the holder to the base, not the longer (part I) bolt.2. The smallest part it’ll hold is about 1.5”. So if you’re doing splines for 3/4” picture frames you’ll have to use spacers, which introduces a whole other level of pain for the set up.3. Hard to get adequate compression to hold your piece.4. T-track guide is poor quality. Wobbles. If I keep this I’ll need to get a better guide. So overall pretty bad. I probably should’ve gone for the Rockler jig.

poorly made
I had to buy a collet extension but then the jig did not fit over the longer collet. I had to saw out part of the slot for router bit so it would go through. The triangular holder for the work piece is not 90 degrees, so the work piece wobbles. Some of the plastic edging came off right away so I had to glue it back on. The concept is good but the execution is poor. Perhaps a jig made in America rather than China would be an improvement. I hope so! (this is a pos)

Decent. Works well. Assembly takes a little time.
Works well, assembly instructions are a little confusing and the identification of the marked parts to the instructions isn't very clear. It does make nice spline joints.

I didn't buy this on Amazon, but the same thing from another distributer
This product isn't function without a collet extension (I would recommend a good quality half inch). Personally, I'd rather not use one at all. Then, the collet extension won't fit high enough in the base. Next, the box bit slot is too narrow for most dovetail bits. As well, the miter slot is sloppy. Make all these adaptations, and it works somewhat. It will make average straight miter splines, and some dovetail splines. Making good inset dovetail splines with this is out of the question owing to the sloppy miter slot. The Rockler jig is much better for $10 more
