For the most part installation was a breeze the only thing i didnt like about the was the tilt adjustment it is handy to angle the light which i really liked the bad is when you try to install the the twist so 1 side is locked the other is not. Need a way to hold the ends during install. They are a little dimmer then the older bulbs I pulled out.

Everything was good but one end popped off when I rotated the prongs into the fixture. I slipped the end back on and held it as I rotated the bulb prongs into the light fixture on the next attempt. It all still works.

As instructed, I disconnected the old ballast and removed it from the fixture. Then rewired the 120 volt supply directly to the LED tube ends. The lamp installation was a little tricky since the connectors turn to allow the tube to be adjusted for optimum lighting. These lamps are very close to the same brightness and color of the fluorescent lamps I removed.

These are NOT 'drop-in' replacements as advertised. You have to de-mount your existing fixture; remove the ballast and rewire the fixture; install the lamps; and remount the fixture. If you don't do this, you will blow the lamps and you won't be able to return them.For an existing consumer-grade fixture, you might as well just buy a new fixture with LED lamps in it in the first place and install that.BEWARE!
