I gave this a 4 stars but wanted to give 3.5 stars..
So I really would have given this unit 3.5 stars if I could pick half stars. First it is a good unit the motor runs very quite. You have to get right next to it to hear it. The 4 Way valve works very easily although the printing on the top that tells you the position is very small and hard for old eyes to see. It was easy to assemble even thought the directions are not very good. THE BAD! It LEAKS at every hose connection. The worst leak is at the hose that goes from the 4-Way to the pump. This is the only hose that is provided with the system. The hoses that go to the pool also leak but not as bad. The hose clamps that come with the system are junk. When trying to tighten them they strip out so you can not get them tight. ALL of these leaks are at the couplings this company provided or on the 4-Way valve. Then the worst thing is that i can not find a number or any contact information to get any service/support on these problems. I can not get Amazon to help me with this either.

Wron O ring
I just installed the new pump and it runs good but the Oring keeps blowing off after a while..The oring isnt tight so Im thinking they sent me the wrong one. Im going to buy another oring from a pool place and try that before contacting Suncoo.

Good for the money
Bought this sand filter and pump in the spring installed it a few weeks ago and it’s doing well for the cost that I paid. Hopefully to keep it around for a couple more years.

Not hooked up yet
I can't really review it because I thought it came with 3 hoses and my hoses off my old filter were dry rotted and I didn't replace them

Beware.
I bought this for my above ground swimming pool. Didn't come with much. Worked for about a week and now half the filtering. Bought it ahead of time. So now return window is closed. Can't return it now. Junk!! Beware!!

Great deal
I've gotta my pump set up, no problem. But after a bit i noticed the pump was leaking. I am in contact with Suncoo and i am hoping for a resolution soon.

Doesn't last
Ran for a few months and then the pump started leaking. Ended up buying a Hayword unit. I wouldn't recommend this strictly because of the pump. The filter is great, though.
