Read this first!!! The other reviews that say this does not fit..that was me. One seemed too short and the other three or four inches too wide! Well do this. First, pay attention...the ends need to REALLY be put on. I lightly banged them straight down on the driveway. Flipped and banged down the other end. Thus pushed the caps 9n completely and bingo!!! Perfect fit!! There is a shorter one and a longer one as the jeep compass isn't even. Also, each crossbar has a round side and a "pointy" side. Front bar has pointy side front and back should have rounded side facing front. I have a 2019

Easy to install !!!! I did it 99% myself. Only had my husband tighten up the screws a bit once it was installed.Super happy with the look installed. Looks like they were made for the Jeep. I see other cars w racks that stick straight out on the sides and I am beyond happy I spent a few extra bucks for this model. Looks perfect and is sturdy.Jeep Compass 2016

I bought these for a 2014 Jeep Compass. It was a bit confusing at first but I got it figured out. Here are some tips. The bars are 2 different lengths so don't mix up which one goes on the front and which one goes on the back. The bolts it comes with seem a touch short so I went to a hardware store and grabbed some M6 threaded bolts at 35mm long (16 bolts, nuts, & washers). It is way easier using a socket wrench to tighten bolts rather than using that stupid hex key they give you. Follow the arrows the bars. The back rail has an arrow pointing to the back of the car. The front rail has an arrow that points to the front of the car. The front rail, could only align 3 of the 4 holes at first. The plastic channel was not cut deep enough for this rail to fit over the car's rail, so I had to pull out a Dremel and shave 1/16" off the inside arch to make it align that last hole. Once I got the bolt to catch the thread, the rest was easy.I have had them on for 2 weeks now, and it works great. It does however, at really high speeds, can make a sound as the aerodynamics of your car is altered by having these bars up there. Just sayin'.

I’m giving 5 stars because these things were a snap to install... all of the other reviews stats very poor information about installing... I had NONE!!! But they are pretty self explanatory! They fit perfectly on my 2016 Compass!They make a slight hum when driving around the city, I haven’t hit the freeway yet. But it’s not really noticeable, I always have music loud anyway.I feel this is a absolutely great buy! Especially since my Jeep dealer wanted $260 for the Mopar set and the local 4x4 shop wanted $210 EACH BAR!!!!Ummmm no thank you!!So far, so good!! 🤞🤞🤞✌️✌️

After reading the many reviews I decided to give tis a shot, I was using them for a Jeep Compass 2015, While it says it doesn't fit that model, it does, with absolutely no issues. The product performs as expected, Installation on Jeep Compass was a breeze, Just have to pop of the 8 caps on the rails of jeep to expose the holes where the screws go. Sadly there were no directions what so ever in the box. The problem I had with this was it came delivered with a broken piece, albeit it didn't affect installation it just irritated me that I spent decent money on it, and it was cracked. I was going to send it back but decided not too. All in all it works as its supposed to, I also instaled a Malone Stax2 pro, for lugging the kayaks I just bought. Noise isnt an issue either. Just change the way it ships and it would get 4 -5 stars

If you're wanting to save a couple hundred bucks by avoiding a name brand, these racks work well. The fit isn't perfect, they're not the prettiest racks I've ever seen, and the holes don't line up 100% with the guides in the Jeep rails, but with a little elbow grease they'll mount fine. (Note in some of the pictures how the bolts are not in at a square angle - I didn't want to bore out the holes in the plastic footings as some other reviewers have done, but found I could push down with enough force on the footings to line up the holes and get the bolts in.) The thing I was most nervous about were the plastic footings not being strong enough, but I can say I'm actually impressed with their durability, enough to where I absolutely trust hauling my kayak around this summer.Again, they're not top quality and they're not going to win any style awards. But for the price, they can't be beat.Note for Jeep Compass owners: They switched body styles mid-2017. This rack (2011 - 2016) will work on a old body style 2017 Jeep Compass, as mine is pictured. The AUXMART 2017 Compass racks DO NOT FIT the old body style.

We were looking for crossbars for my husband's 2016 Jeep Compass. The cross bars did fit and were pretty easy to install. The only issue is they are a little noisy when driving. They aren't as bad once there is some weight on them (we tested them with and without a cargo box). Overall, I'm happy with this purchase so far. We'll be making a long trip next month and will update this review if that changes.

I bought these for my 2019 Jeep Compass making sure to select the correct body style. When I got my purchase I noticed that it did not come with any instructions. That was annoying but easy to get past. The real deal breaker was the crossbars did not come close to fittings on the rails of my Jeep! It did not matter what combination of cross bar I used with the "front" and "back" brackets, it still did not even come close to fitting. I know other people said it sometimes took a little coaxing to get it to fit but there would be no way on God's green earth this would fit.Maybe its easier to save up for the Mopar part or another cross bar that is more similar to the OEM part. All I know is that this item is being returned asap!

The bars fit my 2019 Jeep Compass Trailhawk, and are quite sturdy. I had to apply a bit of top down pressure to ensure a few of the holes lined up with the ones on the vehicle, but once that was done I had no issues.
