I've been doing yoga regularly for about a year. I am somewhere between beginner and intermediate. I have started working on mastering indermediate poses and attempting some harder, advanced poses. I love using yoga props either during class or while doing my own practice at home.I have seen yoga wheels on various blogs that I visit. I was intrigued by the whole concept and was excited to try it out for myself. I can say that it is very helpful with some poses. I find I can get a better opening and stretch when using this. I spent some time browsing around on Pinterest, blogs and the internet to find some poses that work for me. I also love using this in place of my block with some poses. I can use it in it's tall form or lay it on its side and for a small lift.The whole wheel was built well. It can withstand my 148 lbs of bodyweight when I'm balancing on it. The seam where the rubber meets is almost indiscernible. I'm marking it down a star because after browsing I've seen some other wheels in this price range that come with cards that have various pose recommendations. That would've been very helpful so I could've started out the box doing stuff with it, instead I spent quite some time browsing for ideas. It's priced on the higher side of wheels, so a bonus like that would make a big difference in value. I was sent this for testing and review purposes. Great price, arrived quick, thank you ! So glad I purchased this yoga wheel (happy back) ! Good construction and sturdy. When not stretching with it sometime I sit on with no problems, no structural weaknesses noticed. I'm 180 lbs.

My wife and I try to be as athletic as time allows, doing a lot of exercises in our living room when the baby is in bed. That being said, we’re not necessarily yoga people, but we love trying new exercises. This review will be from my non-yoga background, for the common folk, like myself.I was very impressed with the quality of this yoga wheel upon receiving it. The center of the ring is made of a thick, hard plastic which doesn’t give at all when weight is applied. The padding on the outside is soft and dense. It looks like the padding is glued on and upon examination I didn’t notice any places where it looks like it’s lifted or missing glue. I also didn’t expect the wheel to have this weight to it - it feels durable and robust.I tried out some of the suggested positions and stretches with the wheel. My favorite had to be the one where you lay back on the wheel, with it positioned right in between your shoulder blades, plant your feet and slowly roll back across it. My back stretched and popped and it felt like a great stability exercise for my abs - that slow rotation, trying to maintain a constant rate of movement. Some of the others are definitely above my level, like those where you prop a leg up and roll across it while holding yourself up. It’s good though, something to work on. Actually, a lot of things to work on - it opens up a whole new group of exercises and stretches that I’m not good at yet.If you’ve ever used a yoga ball, it’s kind of like that. The key difference here is the smaller diameter of the wheel makes you work a little harder through your core. You also have to balance side to side a little more, but it’s not too hard. One of the benefits of the yoga wheel over the ball is you can’t pop the wheel and it’s not so massive like an inflated yoga ball is. The smaller diameter is also better for extremity stretches and lower positions and the hard plastic doesn’t bend so your motions are a lot smoother. Unless you have a very small yoga ball I think it would be nigh impossible to pull off some of the movements you can do with the wheel.I received this yoga wheel at a discount in exchange for my honest review. I am reviewing this item for my honest feedback and have received a discount in exchange on this item.I have taught easy Yoga for a while but I have not done it in a while due to physical limitations. I had not seen this product before. I found it interesting and wanted to try it out. The products arrived quickly and packaged well as expected from Amazon. I found the wheel well made and sturdy. The water bottle was a bonus. I love having fruit in my water and it always seems to rise to the top. This keeps it in place and distributed evenly in the water.The Wheel was a little intimidating at first, Then I tried some leg stretches and found it made them much easier to do. I typically do little back bends in my practice but found using the wheel I was able to accomplish deeper back bends. I am looking forward to doing more yoga as a result of this tool for my practice. It will allow me the flexibility to take a move deeper that I have been able to do in the past. All in all, great Yoga prop and product!
