The Continuum of Literacy Learning, Grades K-8: Behaviors and Understandings to Notice, Teach, and Support

I purchased this book after a colleague of mine told me about it and let me borrow her copy. It's very useful for many things, especially helping to figure out the levels of books that can't be found on Scholastic Book Wizard. It's used by many teachers in the local school system but they have to purchase it themselves or be fortunate enough to have their administration get a copy. It's a great book for all aspects of literature.

This book is the most complete and detailed resource for establishing a balanced literacy classroom. It is a must if you are just starting the process or are a new teacher!

Just what I need to support LA instruction!

I highly recommend this to teachers and college students who need a resource guide to follow. It gives you a one stop place to find out the developmental stages for the literacy levels that a child should be at.

The Continuum that was purchased has been very helpful. Fountas and Pinnell are always great authors when it comes to reading and the Continuum resource is no exception.Great purchase!

This is a great resource to use especially when writing IEP's.

Got this book for a college course. It was alright for the type of book it is but I have read better.
