SimpleSmart Smart WiFi Motor (Built-in Integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Home) Remote Control Wireless Smart Motorized Electric Curtain Tracks (Motor Only)

When I originally got this, I hated it. The instructions were pasted together and in multiple random orders. It wasn't until I contacted the manufacturer did he send me something slightly better. Still it took over 3-5 hours to figure this out. The remote requires round battery 2450 that did NOT come with the package and locating one was painful. The remote control itself it not very smart. It has a large glass display that does not display anything other than a blue or red dot light when you press the up or down. Btw, it took several tries to synch it to the motor.Once it was finally put together. It works beautifully for the price. This could have been a 5 star product but the instructions are painful and not intuitive. Again, this could be made a billion easier if they took the few hours to carefully write out the instructions.

I ordered the SimpleSmart Smart curtain rod 10 foot for a sliding glass door. I ordered before door was installed. Product arrived and was too short. My bad- my prospective measurements were way off. Turns out I needed a 13 foot rod. I reached out to the seller to see how best to return ie was it possible to keep the motor and only return the rod? It seemed the exchange of the rod was going to cost much more than the return and re-order of the correct size rod an motor package. Emails to the seller were promptly responded to and a resolution worked out and we are excitedly waiting for the 13-footer to arrive. Great customer service! There have been reviews stating that the entire system has to be put together but based on what we received, the rod pieces are already put together and just the segments joined together. The system seems substantial and well made. We will be doing a wall mount and will have to see how that goes. If all goes well, plan to order a much larger version for another room. So far, would highly recommend the SimpleSmart products.

Excellent product and easy to do business with company. A small plastic part was damaged in shipment and the company replaced it quickly. If you need to cut the rail shorter, the instructions aren't really clear. However, if you cut the rail 12", just know you have to cut "both" belts 12 inches. My mistake was that I cut one belt 24 inches because the online Youtube video shows a rail system with one belt. On the longer rails you have two belts. Anyway, I bought 5 of these and they were easy to customize and install. All 5 are set up in a customer iPhone app and connected to Alexa for full automation. Great product and very good company to work with.

This is my second purchase of these motorised curtains. The first purchase was for a 6.5m rail and for this purchase I intended to run it along a 3m window. I must admit that following their video instructions to customise the length of the rail requires a lot of trail and error (which i learnt during the first 6.5m rail and had to buy new belt) but second time round for the 3m rail it was a breeze. Motor is high quality.

This is a must for a smart home. Works with Alexa too.

This is an amazing product… I was a bit skeptical ordering a product such as this from a foreign manufacturer and having only a few reviews. The motor for this curtain product is actually extremely quiet. You can hear it when it’s running, but it is by no means a distraction. The motor is strong and the curtain action is fast. I like that you can stop the curtains at any point depending on the amount of light that you want let in. I will say that if you need to cut a custom length yourself, the video link provided with the product is not entirely accurate. The video demonstration describes how to cut a drive belt from a single belt stock, but if you’ve received the product you will realize that the belt is already split into two pieces and each belt will need adjusted accommodate any length changes… additionally, some of the pieces used in the instructional video are not the current technology that are being shipped with the product, however I believe the current pieces are superior to what’s shown in the video. Resizing the product is a technical endeavor, and will require a bit of DIY ingenuity, however I had no issues at all making the adjustments I needed. It came out perfect. Full disclosure, I do have a science and engineering background, but I would also say this is a very well engineered product. I could not have designed it better myself, and I have no doubts that this will last a long time. If you plan to use this as a connected smart device, do not throw away the links that are provided on the paper in the packaging, as they are very difficult to find elsewhere online.
