I bought this book used and it arrived in like-new condition. I have worked repairing the electronics inside and outside of hydraulic valves for almost four years now, and there were STILL some new things I learned from this book! This book covers all the details of specifying and troubleshooting hydraulic systems, which is well beyond the scope of what I usually do. Great book, and great reference material that I can frequently use.

Although the subject is new to me, it is presented based on a foundation of logical sense (well-labeled illustrations) and semantic progression of understanding.

I bought this for my son who needed it for a course he is taking. It would have cost him over $100.00 at the school bookstore. Even with the shipping cost, it was half the price ordering thru Amazon. We appreciated the savings greatly.

Amazing book to start learning about hydraulicz

Its another out of date book that does not even give schematic symbols to assist in reading prints.Very disappointed in its content.Todays equipment up to 6 ecm's and this out of date relic should be burned.

This Fluid Power book will give you very detailed information covering basic Hydraulic principles, to extensive component understanding. Excellent coverage of Cylinders, Valves, Actuators, and System devices.

The book arrived in great condition as described. This is a used book, therefore there is some highlighted marks from previous reader. But they are relatively neat and acceptable.I am an undergraduate student, textbooks are pretty expensive for me. This is a perfect solution and book for you all.Satisfied

Exactly what I expected. Thorough explanations with lots of graphics of hydraulics devices, such as cartridges, applied logic gates, servo valves and proportionnal valves and control. Great reference.Almost as good as Brendan Casey's books.
