Does a good job at removing soot and smoke smell.

The putty worked better than the eraser on the antique wallpaper that has a dry paper finish. It cleaned it better than a damp rag, and didn't wreck the paper. I vacuumed off afterwards, then coated it with polycrylic (the designer stuff was too spendy and didn't come in gallons), so I could paint on the missing patches.I didn't think to do Before and After photos of the cleaning stage, but here's some of the wallpaper in question.

Due to a house fire, my books were soot damaged and I was looking for a way to be able to save them. Although the sponge and the putty were dirty, I could see very little difference in the appearance of the books. Maybe I was expecting too much, but this product is definitely not worth the price. Go buy some play-doh, which the putty smells suspiciously like. I’m pretty sure your results will be the same at a fraction of the cost.

it will get a book in reasonable condition clean of most dirt depending on the condition of the book. its great on ink and lead pencil removal but forget about magic marker removal you'll do more damage than not. but overall a good product.

It did not rub much debris from the paper. After a lot of repeated tries could see very little difference

It's not supposed to be molded . This sucks
