Edelbrock17303 Fuel Pump

Pump works well, fairly quiet and only minor vibration, do want to note, the inlet end of the pump is tapped 1/8 pipe and comes with a inlet fuel filter with a 5/16 hose barb. The outlet end of the pump is not tapped and has a 5/16 hose barb to hold a 5/16 inside diameter hose, same as does the inlet filter supplied. Other inlet filters with different hose sizes are available, but unless you get some kind of hose adapter for the outlet end, you are pretty much using a 5/16 inside diameter hose on the outlet.

Got one , it failed in 1 week with open internal circuit.. Would not even on bench test.. I tried 2 more as car takes 2.. BOTH fail in 1 week .. They still ran but would not pump fuel .. Brand new tanks & fuel.. Fuel flowed to input on pumps but nothing out.. Enough said..

Came with everything needed, including mount hardware! Super easy to install and runs my Weber 32/36 DGV great. It’s on a 1980 Volkswagen Rabbit Truck

Easy to install and included fuel filter. Right fuel pressure for a VW engine in 356a without needing an additional regulator.

Great electrical pump

Was junk right out of the package. Super loud with no power to draw fuel. I bought Edelbrock because it was a name brand part. Replaced it with a cheap no name pump that I had used to transfer gas between tanks. That pump is quiet and has performed flawlessly.

I used this to transfer fuel. It worked for a few minutes and then stopped running. The replacement did the same, so I'm guessing these are fragile.

I didn't purchase from Amazon but rather a parts store with an "Irish" name. I chose this pump because of the quality associated with the Edelbrock name. This pump was meant to replace the poor quality mechanical pumps that are sold for my small British car. After installation and a series of random issues with fuel starvation, I installed a pressure gauge to monitor the pump's performance. At times the pump was putting out over twice its rated pressure, other times it wasn't producing pressure at all. During enthusiastic driving the pump's flow couldn't keep up with the fuel demands of the 1.5 liter and 60 horsepower of my car. I am extremely disappointed in this product especially because of the price and the name that's on the packaging.

If you're having issues with any external diaphragm pump on a small engine this thing is perfect. I had a 1999 Polaris Ranger 500 that the OEM Polaris pump died on and this was half the price, worked like a charm. I also had a 500 HO sportsman 6x6 that I could never get to fuel properly when I was going up a hill, this solved that too although without the Polaris pump regulator (unobtainium now) it overfuels slightly when you first start it but I'll take that stumble over bogging above half throttle on a hill when you need it any day. Also unlike the Ebay versions this one is a legit 2.5 PSI, it won't keep pumping until it spews out the overflow.

Excelente producto, funciona a la perfección en mi vocho de carburador, lo único malo es que no tiene algún sensor que detecte que ya tiene suficiente presión y sigue funcionando todo el tiempo.
