Flame Bloc is a water-based environmentally safe fire retardant treatment for fabrics, cardboard and other porous surfaces, Flame Bloc penetrants the substrate and develops a self-extinguishing coating when the treated material comes in contact with an open flame. When applied correctly to certain natural and synthetic fabrics, the material will have a class A Rating. Flame Bloc works to actually form a thermal insulation barrier to prevent flames from spreading. This unique thermal insulation barrier factor is attributed to the unique cooling characteristic of the product which prevents the flammable gasses from escaping and extinguishes the flame.

Did not like. Left a sticky residue on my pillows and couch cover! I hope to never know or have a test for if it really works.
