AV Connect USB Type C to USB 3.0 Type A OTG Adapter 15 Cm - Black&Grey

Using this cable for my Asus Zenbook on USB type C port. Works but there are two problems with this connector. One, on both the type C and 3.1 ends the connector is very tight , requires considerable amount of force to insert. Two , the transfer speeds seem slow , averaging 12 mbps (highest I got was around t16 mbps) which is somewhat Usb2.0 speeds. Other than that it works.

Nowadays USB type c is getting more mainstream, So adding a USB type c adapter is the way to go.AV connect OTG type c cable is best value for money cable. Because it supports USB 3.0 or 3.1 gen 1 which is 5Gbps speed data transfer.Both the connectors are metal encased and the cable it braided which makes it durable cable in this segment. Length is exactly 15cm (I measured it using scale).I tested this cable on my Lenovo K9 2018 smartphone and it worked like a charm and Also on my Dell laptop which has a type c port and worked just fine in terms of data transfer (I used some USB pendrives and card reader to check the data transfer speed using this cable).My verdict is go for it without any hesitation if you really need type c male to type a female cable.☺

As updated it does the job, able to transfer the files from my OP5 without any issues, but the female end of the connector build quality is not good quality and is very tight to insert the thumb drive.

The connector is just awesome. The cable portion is rigid and strong and very nicely braided. Extremely easy to operate. Data transfer speeds are much better than micro USB. Cheapest and best quality connector available on Amazon. The price is also very decent. If possible use an USB 3.0 pendrive. Watching movies with this connector attached to your phone is a breeze. It can also be used to share charge to another mobile. Awesomely awesome.

It didn't work at all. Type-C connector was too tight to connect to my Oneplus 6Update: The seller sent me a brand new one which is working absolutely fine. Thanks a lot.

First product I received was not happy with the speedSeller was quick to sent me a replacement which works pretty well I also use it with my laptop with USB C port as wireless mouse adapterI am getting very good copy and paste download speed from pen drive5 stars for the seller

Update 24th Jan: I received a replacement of the same device from the vendor, with a little tweak to the internal plug. My external hard disc and other USB devices now fit well to this device. Thank you for going that extra mile and resolving the issue vis-a-vis just acknowledging or ignoring the complaint. This is well appreciated and I have already been looking at your other products. Thanks!Suggestion: Please perform quality checks on your products prior to shipping out. Will save you and the customer, time, effort and money. Had to try hard with some force, but that would have damaged the devices. Not worth taking that risk, hence returned.
