This paddle replaces the paddle that came with my SUP from 2017. That paddle did not float and the paddle portion (which was not detachable) actually fell right off the end into the water a few weeks ago and disappeared. This paddle is easy to put together, but a little difficult to pinch and pull apart for storage, but only need to do that once per use. I find the paddle comfortable, easy to change Heights which I do throughout the day moving from standing to sitting on the board. And confirmed it floats.

I bought 2 paddles to replace the paddles that came with our boards. I cannot say enough good things about this paddle!! Our previous paddle had a rubber type blade that did not work in choppy water or for power stroking. We paddle 3-4 times a week and this paddle with its rigid blade is amazing and the price is perfect when you need 2 of everything. We can paddle thru choppy water without ever slowing down. Waves...piece of cake and smooth water we just sail. Truly they changed our paddle game.😁

I didn't purchase this paddle for SUP use. I purchased it as an emergency paddle for my fishing boat. While not the use it was intended for, it really is perfect as an emergency paddle. It's long enough that I can paddle without leaning over the gunnels of the boat, it breaks down small enough to store in one of the side lockers on the boat and is seems quite sturdy. It was only a few dollars more than the blow molded plastic and thin aluminium, dedicated emergency paddles for sale. Very happy with my purchase.

Good luck trying to get anywhere on your SUP board in the middle of the lake against the wind. Unless you got good core strength and the determination, it will have you wishing to splurged a little more on something a little more reliable. However, have it be noted that it definitely works and won't leave you stranded. You just got to work a little harder to keep up with anybody. In perfect weather conditions, or paddling with the wind, it works just as you would expect. If you paddle board just a few times out the the year, it's fine, it'll serve its purpose. But if you are wanting to paddle every weekend of the summer, spend the money on a decent paddle and you will thank yourself in the long run.

We bought to replace one that was lost to the river gods. It's not as solid feeling (we have another one like the one we lost).It floats nicely (needed on a river this week).My only issue is that it feels a little less rigid than others we've tried and this means you lose some energy in your pulls. It's also half the price of those others. We will keep using it—happily.It calls it a 3 piece, but it's more like a 2 piece with an adjustable handle, that can be removed, but why would you?

The paddle is very lightweight. This is my third paddle for my SUP.I like that the paddle is very lightweight and floats.The only issue is I could not figure out how to adjust the paddle, so I have a question posted with my listing.No instructions came with it and there isn't a video or online instructions.

Nice budget paddle. Have taken on several 4 hour trips and have been pleased with the feel and weight of the paddle. It definitely floats and the adjustability works for everyone from 8 - 50 that has ridden my paddlebord.The only con to this paddle would be the lack of a grip. When the paddle gets wet it occasionally will slip out of your hand.

I liked the color and performance. I did NOT like that the top paddle handle broke off. I am one month out of warranty. A paddle should be able to be pushed at the top while being pulled at the bottom. The paddle handle was not strong enough. Not sure how to fix this. Disapointing
