RIIPOO USB Type C Adapter 2-Pack USB Type C Extension Adapter, USB 3.1 USB C Female to Female Coupler Connector for Samsung Galaxy S8, Google Pixel and More (FM/FM)

This adapters work great if they're used with shorter type extension cables. I tried using these adapters to connect a 10 feet long USB-C cable extension to my MacBook and devices, but my cable wire did not work. I even tried connecting the adapters to my actual MacBook Pro charging wire to my actual iPad Pro charging wire together, but still nothing. Then I tried using these adapters to connect 8 inch USB-C extension wires together to plug one end into my MacBook and the other end in my desktop charger. And well... it worked perfectly.

The reason I purchased this was to charge a power Bank. I connecting a QC 3.0 wall outlet to a usb-c/usb-c cable, to this coupler, to a usb-c/usb-c, to a power Bank.Edit: it works but only in one orientation. If it's plugged in backwards, it won't work. My mistake. Great product!!

I used this to connect two usb-c cables end to end to make a longer one for charging my phone. Works as expected and my Nexus 6p does rapid charge correctly.Only issue is that you have to plug in both cables into this adapter in the same direction in order for it to work, which feels strange given that usb-c is symmetrical. My cables had logos on one side, and I discovered that I had to have both logos up or both logos down. If I did one up and one down, the phone would not connect to the charger. I also tested with a few other cables with the same result.

Wow, this thing actually works.My setup is: Apple 30" Cinema Display > Dual Link DVI > USB-C > This female-female adapter > USB-C cable > computerThis works and lets me use my monitor with a USB-C adapter with a short pigtail cable. Now I can use this coupler to make a USB-C "extension cable" to my computer.Make sure you try all 4 orientations of plugging cables into this coupler. Some do not work. So flip the cables around after inserting if it doesn't.

It does charge my device, but I mainly needed it to push video to a display, which it does not do. If the only reason you need this is to charge a device and not transfer any data, then this should work just fine.

Thank you for making this type of adapter. It seems like connecting two USB-C cables together should be as simple as connecting an extension cable to your tv or radio but no. I don’t know exactly why USB-C couplers need chips embeded inside to transfer data and power succesfuly through two connected USB-C cables. Maybe the chips inside do more than just transfer data and power if you know what mean?:D. These work great. If you plug them in one way they transfer power only, if you turn them the other way they transfer power and data at the same time.

Works perfectly! Simple and to the point. Does what it should do flawlessly. I switch b/w my Dell XPS13 and Desktop PC connected to 3 monitors through a Dell USB-C Hub and it works like a charm.

The product deserves zero stars. I gave a star because of Amazon's smooth return process.I bought this product for connecting 2 monitors. Neither of the connectors actually works. I first thought it was not able to transfer the video signals but it proved me wrong. It does not detect even the mouse connected to my portable dock station. Its a complete waste of time and money.Oh BTW, I tried to contact the seller as written on the product package. No response till date!Frustrated, I returned the product.
