Blizzard Of Ozz

In my humble opinion, Ozzy's Blizzard of Ozz is his masterpiece, that said I just can't understand why they have made such piece of crap. I've ordered it twice because I was expecting that it was just a single bad unit that I had got first, but NO, both records were totally damaged skipping from the beginning to the end. At last, if you are buying it for hanging it on your wall, go ahead, but if you are a serious listener get out of this as fast as you can, such classic album should receive a better attention from music companies.

I am very happy with the sound quality and look of this Limited Edition vinyl picture disc album. If you ever purchased a picdisc you know the packaging is usually flimsy with little to no extras. Not true here, the vinyl comes with an outer plastic sleeve and a plastic album sleeve. The album sleeve is thoughtfully contoured to the record allowing you to remove and replace the vinyl into the jacket easily and securely. The limited edition sticker is a nice touch but can be relocated for a better astetic look.

Well first of all it is a very cool looking album. Nice images front and back. However the sound is sub par. For me it didn't skip like a lot of people complained about. If you have a decent turntable with a well installed cartridge it won't. But, to me the sound reminded me of an old record club pressing for those who can remember those. They weren't very goodBecause they were not pressed from the master disc . Not terrible but not as good as a store bought record I gave it 3 stars for quality of sound not anything else. Hope this helps your decision whether or not to buy it or not.

When it comes to the outer jackets coming in damaged, it's normal when buying from amazon. Vinyl just made a comeback so most sellers don't know how much they should package an lp before shipping. I have a lot of lp's that have jacket damaged from amazon, but they all play great. If you're buying a re-re-re-re-re-realese, it's not going to shoot up in value. Now, the people having skipping issue probably have cheapo turntables. The new cheapo ones cannot handle colored, clear, 180 gram or old records with irremovable dirt. On inspection, (keep in mind this is my first picture disk) I can see debris that were in the actual vinyl during pressing. It's only cosmetic. Also, don't expect the picture to be perfectly aligned. All in all, no skips. No distortion, the wow sound effect I'll give it an 80-100. For $16 this is an absolute steal and you don't have to feel guilty if you drunk handle it a bit. If you want the full amazing sound go for an older version. But, for $16 this is amazing and you can play it with no guilt. It seems the same peoples that were behind this steal did some Judas Priest picture disks as well. I advise looking into them, I mean. If they aren't to pare. You can turn them into some really good clocks, or give them to your kids that have an interest in records.

It sounds great. Remember if your gonna get back into vinyl, you need a decent turntable. I think a lot of skipping complaints are based on using a limited turntable. I have a Pyle belt driven, but it has anti-skate and an adjustable weight on the tone arm. These features will correct most skipping issues, unless the record is damaged. These come in handy on used records as well. Love this LP, sounds great....

Ive read other reviews of this album ,how it jumped and was poor quality ,wellThey're unfounded ,it plays brilliantly ,no scratches or jumps ,Excellent sound quality ,I am very satisfied with it .

its the album with crazy train on it as well as alot of other good songsa really solid old syle Heavy metal album

Super album, all time great and a welcome addition to my collection.Really recommend to any hard rock fan from any era.
