4.5 Stars: A very good quality screen protector designed for the retina screen
I give this product 4.5 star. It's a screen protection product with exceptional quality but is also quite pricy (which costs it half the star). RetinaGuard is a clear screen protector designed especially for the retina display. Installing the RG is, IMO, a lot easier than with most other cheaper screen protectors on the market. However, the procedures are the same and a good amount of patience is required while installing it. Installing a clear protection film on a 15-inch screen must be done with care and concentration, especially if you want it to be perfect. I was able to install this thing with virtually no bubble remaining, with no spect of dust or particle left between the surfaces (of my screen and the RG film). The product comes with a big piece of sticker designed to remove the dusts/particles under the clear film. This is clever because a large-sized sticker helps reduce the chance you might leave your fingerprints underneath the film (which can happen if you use smaller stickers). What about the screen quality after the installation? One Word: Amazing. This has got to be one of the best "crystal clear" Macbook screen protector on the market. I installed the RG film late at night (when staring at a screen makes your eyes hurt) and after I finished with the installation I immediately noticed the reduced impact of the blue-light effects on my eyes. However, unlike other screen protecting films (especially the matted ones), the RG doesn't reduce the sharpness or the brightness of Macbook's retina screen at all. I compared the screen of my MBP 15 (post RG installation) with the retina screen of a MBP 13 (without any screen protector on). The MBP 15's screen looked just as crisp as the unprotected MBP 13's one. The only thing I felt was reduced was the potency of the blue light. Moreover, while the RG does add more reflectiveness or "glare" to the retina screen, I find the experience more tolerable than that of most other lower-priced clear screen protectors (which cancel out the basic galre-reduction property of the original retina screen). I am one of those people who think that the reflectiveness of the retina display give Macbook a unique visual aesthatic (although, for some people, it may cause distractions). This is why I choose a clear screen protector. In sum, this is a cool accessory product for Macbook Pro and I do recommend it if you are willing to pay $49 for it.

Great Screen protector
Great Screen protector. Would have given 5 stars if it were easier to install. For the price, i think there should be 2 included, but that's just my opinion. I tried a less expensive one, which left a matte finish, so the picture quality on this protector is excellent. You can definitely feel the difference (less eye strain). You Have to have A LOT of patience when applying the protector. They also need to include a tool for getting out air bubbles like other comparable protectors. Overall though, its worth the price since you wont sacrifice screen quality.
