Tri Lam Heavy War Bow Bamboo Backed (120-130)

I found this vendor searching in Amazon while looking for a cost effective medieval style English war bow. I got the bow directly from the vendor since I wanted a 100-110 lb. draw weight at a shorter draw length than the customary 32” reference for medieval style bows. I also got matching arrows (set of 6 wooden Crecy style 36”long and ½’’ diameter) that can withstand the bow weight without too much deflection or risk of breaking. The heavy bow and arrow combination has more penetration power than my hunting bow and carbon arrows in spite of my short-drawing of the war-bow (I still need to work to the full behind the ear draw weight). Testing it with my broadhead target, it shot through it like through butter and with surprisingly good grouping of arrows (this is a new style of shooting for me and I was short drawing) After shooting it, my 72 lb @25" hunting modern longbow feels very light which is something I wanted to happen. You can shoot the war bow with either hand and therefore is an excellent training tool to exercise symmetrically both sides of your body.The setup and care instructions are straight to the point. The staff answered thoroughly all my questions both before and after making the purchase and contacted me promptly when in doubt about one of my customization requests. I am very satisfied with the product and the service.
