I've been quite skeptic about his product, since I don't want to spend my money on something that I consider unnecessary, but I must admit ti - this was a perfect choice.My oldest cat is already 4 years and since I bought him I always had the same problem, he loves playing with water. This means that he knocked over every type of water bowl I gave him; big, small, tall, flat - water was always on the kitchen floor and my cat was drinking from random puddles outside.I purchased this fountain a few months ago. Before I made my choice I checked many similar products reading customers reviews and I believe I made the best choice. Here is why:* The product is very good quality, quite heavy, which means that my cat would not manage to knock this one over.* Definitely good value for money spent.* It is very easy to set up, it took me maybe 5 minutes from opening the box to having the fountain working.* It is absolutely silent. I was reading somewhere that it starts being slightly noisy when the filter needs to be replaced. I still didn't experience it.* It arrived with 2 filters, one needs to be input when setting up the fountain, the other is for replacement* Filter lasts for long. I think I've been using the fountain for at least 4 months and the first filter is still ok. I do clean the fountain in and out regularly though.* Cats started drinking immediately, they were not afraid of it at all.* The fountain is quite high, around 10cm, which may be challenging to very small kitten.

I bought this for my kittens to teach them to drink water, which it worked nicely. 10 week-old kittens were able to easily drink from it without it being too high up to reach. They are 12 weeks old in the photos and are comfortable drinking out of it in a sitting position. They use it regularly each day now which is great as they are being weaned onto a dry diet.It is easy to assemble and ok for cleaning. The pump is a bit fiddly to clean, though but that is typical of any water fountain with a pump. The water flows gently and is audible. The pump is quiet though, I can't hear it running at all.The fountain has been admired by a few friends with cats. It looks good and functions well abd the kittens seem to love it!

I have two 12 year old Burmese cats. I can tell they want to drink more but one will only drink out of a running tap. I am often not there to run the tap for this purpose! This has been incredible. It took them 2 weeks to get used to the motor and stop fearing the gentle sound and take a drink - now they don't stop!!! Persevere if you buy one. I kept lifting them towards it and I even pretended to drink it myself - they eventually twigged!

My cat is quite elderly now and is suffering from kidney problems. Vets have advised us to get her drinking as much water as we can so we decided to try a water fountain. She took to it instantly.The fountain itself is is easy to assemble, fill, and clean. I would definitely recommend it.

Had struggles with our cat not drinking from her water bowl but she's always enjoyed a drink from a tap or pond fountain. We thought to try this cat water fountain and not disappointed. We'd had a similar one from another brand in the past and it was a little noisy but we thought we'd give this a go. It comes excellently packed and really easy to put together. A quick rinse of the filter and unit and it was filled up, plugged on and all working perfectly. Took a few hours but the cat finally braved a visit and really enjoys it. She's been back repeatedly and glad to be able to determine 100% that she's getting enough water. Overall, excellent amount of water, nice design, super quiet and the cat is happy!

This water fountain is beautiful, really well made and i cant fault the design. The only thing that could be improved is the cable (i had cat mate before but kept having to replace the pump so thought id try this) my old fountain had a cable that had a connection so it was much easier to clean. With this one you have to unplug it and take the whole cable and plug with you to wash it. Really annoying when you have to do it a few times a week and retuck the cable back under the rug. As for the fountain itself my cat loves it.

The media could not be loaded.  my kitten does like the new fountain, as it add much fun feature on drinking water. However, I don’t want give five stars since the container does not tell you how much water left inside and you have to always open it to check that water enough or not.

After our old pet water fountain finally stopped working we needed a replacement. I was a little worried initially with the cheap price of the Semai fountain. It arrived very fast and well packaged and was up and running in mins. Considering it holds 2.5 litres it's very compact. Not only is it compact but its almost silent both the pump and the sound of the water which is again very nice. We have 3 adult cats and they have no problem at all using it.Ease of cleaning and replacing the filters is fast and simple too. Again this is much appreciated and a great time saver for us. As you might imagine changing the water is equally fast and easy.An overall brilliant product very reasonable price we have no problem in recommending this to anyone in the market for a pet fountain.
